I envy you on feeling good after day 3! I've had headaches since yesterday, today is my 2nd week of Phase one and they're finally gone.

First real day one Phase 2 and I am going out to buy whole grain bread and brown rice. I am going to try to have a half portion of any rice or WW pasta and load it up with veggies and lean protein so I can see it, taste it, but not have it be the base of a meal. While I do not crave pasta and rice, it can be easy to have too much when we can start having it back. I think I will have one serving every 3 days or so and still base my meals on veggies and lean protein. A nice oatmeal for breakfast may be a nice change from eggs and cottege cheese...But I do not want to gain my 9 pounds back.

Congrats to all of you on your P1 losses!

Jworion - I am about 5 weeks into P2 and I was just as nervous as you starting out. I did it by adding one new item a week and taking it very slowly. The first week I added in 1/4 cup brown rice with dinner, the next week I started on breakfast cereal and a bit of fruit. The last couple of weeks I have been slipping up a bit (and plateauing, ugh), but it's really more my weak willpower than the way that the diet is set up! I think the key to transitioning into P2 is taking it very slowly and carefully. You can do it!

Hi! I'm on day 12 of P1 and this really works for me. I am down on weight and have lost 1 1/2 inches off my big belly . I am looking forward to adding an apple in week 1, oatmeal week 2 and then see how it goes!

Feeling very good about this. Started P1 on Jan. 2. I haven't been perfectly strict about it, but have made enormous changes in my habits. I have allowed myself to indulge in alcohol on 2 occasions, but it was a conscious decision. Other than that, I have completely eliminated so much terrible stuff I was having, and THAT is what's motivating me. I used to drink about 6 cans of Pepsi a day...and I haven't touched one in 2 weeks. A diet one here and there, and that's it.

So, I've lost about 12 pounds in 2 weeks, and technically today is my last day of P1....but I think I will keep it up until the weekend, just to make up for my few "poor" choices.

But overall, very happy with the program. I guess I could be counted among those who are wary to start onto P2 and reintroduce things, but I plan to take it slow and keep motivated.

So there's my story....and a big congrats to all the P1 losers and finishers. Great stuff!
