and happy Veterans Day to all!

Quick check-in today due to birthday shenanigans No, I wish I had mischief planned but mostly just a quiet day and dinner with good friends this evening.

@love2b150: I agree with lovemylife001! Poor timing but a day off is a day off. Enjoy yourself! Love, Trader Joe's which is right up from the campus I work on, but surprisingly don't visit often (which is good)! I used to buy my favorite peanut butter there and then it was recalled Just my luck Riced cauliflower?! Get out of town, Rennie! I'm definitely going to have to pick up some of that.

@bigjoe: on reaching your first milestone. It will be one of many, I'm sure. You, my friend, are on track in a major way!

@Kukkie: Oof, your wrist injury sounds painful. Have you had it looked at by your doc?

Everyone have a great day!

Happy Birthday curvynotlumpy!

Kukkie84 hope you get your wrist pain under control, that's no fun at all. But good for you for going to the gym and adapting your workout to your current situation.

loveofmylife001 you mean you did all of that BEFORE breakfast?! I'd love to have that much energy when I wake up!

So today was spent on the couch catching up on my DVR and I also watched the movie "Big Eyes" (I'll watch anything with Amy Adams in it). I wasn't going to exercise today, as my legs are really, really stiff from yesterday, but at 3pm I got off the couch and decided to do a 30-minute Jessica Smith walking workout. Glad I did it, but my legs still hurt

Curvy Yeah, it's in the freezer section near the broccoli. They also had bags of cauliflower pieces that would make it easier to make the mock potato salad. No cutting it up, steam it add green pepper, celery, onion, relish and I'm done

lovemylife, I'm kind of use to getting up now. I even wake up when I don't have to between 1:30 and 2:30am. I have always heard how nice Trader Joe's is from 3FCers and I always wanted to go but didn't know where one was. If nothing else I will definitely be going back Did you go to Trader Joe's?

Martine, maybe a nice soaking hot bath will help. Hope your legs are back to normal soon Good job on the workout though

Good Evening Everyone

It was such a nice day here today. Mid 50's and plenty of

Martine Yes, I did all of that before breakfast lol. I always have so much energy in the morning. I've always been that way. I get up at 6:30 am and hit the ground running lol. on the afternoon workout.

love2b150 No, I talked myself out of going to Trader Joes. I knew that would mean spending more money that I wanted to today lol. But I will go this weekend. I want to get that Cauliflower that you bought.

Today, I made a Casserole for the family. For myself I made Grilled Chicken Breast and Red Bean Mash yummo lol. Also will have some SB coleslaw.

Hope everyone is enjoying their evening

love2b150: I wish we had a Trader Joe's here.

bigjoe: Congrats

Kukkie: Hope the wrist is better soon!

Curvy: Sorry I missed your birthday! Happy belated birthday, then!

I was stuck for about 8 weeks at the same weight but started having to get new clothes because my others were getting too big.

Jbl1975 under 240 woohoo!

loveofmylife001 I have restless nights and wake up tired, so I definitely do NOT hit the ground running. I know this lack of restfull sleep is not helping my weight loss either.

Will be tackling a new sculpting workout later on today. Right now, I'm waiting for the delivery of a package for hubby. I'm waiting till after the postman has passed to exercise, I definitely don't want to answer the door a sweaty mess.

Have a great Thursday everyone, the weekend is almost here!

Good Thursday Morning Everyone

We are expecting rain today and wind up to 60mph I guess I won't care how my hair looks today lol.

jb1975 Good job on the loss

Martine Yes, the lack of sleep will definitely effect the weight loss. And I don't blame you for waiting to exercise. I don't like answering the door looking like a mess either lol.

Waving hi all around. Enjoy your day everyone. It's almost TGIF

Curvy! Sorry I missed it, but I think you have today off as well, right? Have fun!

Down 0.9 to 209.1 today. Thanks everyone for your well wishes on my wrist. It's an old injury that tends to flare up when the weather gets damp or particularly cold. Doesn't stop me from doing most day-to-day things, but I can't pick up anything heavy and no weights until the pain subsides. It obviously doesn't help that I'm on a computer all day at work. Just takes a bit longer for the pain to pass. It'll be okay!

lovemylife that cauliflower was pretty good with my peppered chicken. I will definitely buy more for convenience I am a morning person also. When I'm home it drives the kids nuts because I get up so early and start my routine Wow, on the weather, stay safe

Yep Joe, let's do this!!!!

Jill, nice weigh in I just happen to drive up on that one (TJ's) while out yesterday. I never thought to look it up here, even though I have always wanted to go because of all of the good things I had heard about the store.

Kukkie, nice weigh in

I'm up .2, not bad, sodium laden dinner, not enough water and 5 hours sleep ... that'll do it

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I am cooking Japanese tonight so I'm not looking forward to my weigh-in for the next few days! YIKES!!!

But what REALLY scares me is that I will be going out of town with my mom, my sisters, and my aunt for a weekend away in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Thursday- Saturday of eating out and I think we are doing a dinner show. Lord help me not to cause too much damage! Then I have 3 Thanksgiving dinners the following week and a Christmas dinner the week after that! If I don't weigh 300lbs by January, I'll be doing well.

love2b150 and loveofmylife001 now you guys are making me want to eat cauliflower.

So did not exercise yesterday, as I waited all day for that package to be delivered. Turns out the mailman simply left it in our mailbox without ringing the bell. So I just now completed that 40-minute sculpting routine and my shoulders and arms are dead.

It's Friday!!! What are everyone's plans for this weekend?

Good TGIF Everyone It's also Friday the 13th.

I don't have a whole lot of plans for the weekend, just the usually cleaning and errands. Today is only going to be in the upper 40's . Winds are suppose to die down though.

jb1975 I love Japanese food. Actually there's not a whole lot of foods that I don't love lol. Eating good around the holidays is always tough. I started back adding my 2 day fast to my regime this week just to prepare lol. I figure it will all balance out this way. Well at least I hope lol

Martine on the sculpting workout! I do cardio during the week and then weight train on the weekends.

Waving hi all around Hope everyone has a great on-plan weekend!
