love2b150 to answer your questions, no I did not get everything done yesterday. Did not make it to the fabric store to make those draperies. Will do tomorrow. I do not have a sewing machine, so either I'll do it by hand or buy fusible tape (me thinks the tape will win). And as far as yoga goes, best I can describe it is it's made up of slow, controlled movements which include a lot of stretching. I guess I'm not a fan of slow workouts AND I lack the flexibility to do most of the moves AND my belly gets in the way (sigh).
dcapulet where is all this stress coming from? Don't let it get to you, focus and relax. Hang in there.
loveofmylife001 one more day and then you're on vacation? Counting down the hours for you!
Martine LOL, I use the tape for hemming jeans that are too long for me and I know what you mean on the belly getting in the way. Kukkie do you remember the first time I put on pantyhose without a problem, everybody on the thread was so happy for me ... Martine, that was the one thing that I loved that I could do when I loss weight and keep up with my then kindergartner/1st grader. reminiscing here, sorry
I wish I had that drive again
love2b150 just the name "military" diet sounds scary. But great job on day two!
Just did 3 workouts back-to-back for a total of 50 minutes. But this week I can't say that I've been 100% on plan with my eating. Breakfast and lunch have been on, but when suppertime came, it's like I didn't care. Time to rectify that today.
No weigh in for me today. With the crazy migraine that I had for 5 straight days, I caved last night and ordered a pizza, with breadsticks. A weigh in would not have been pretty. Headache free today, thank goodness. Need to get back on track and do some food prep this weekend.
I'm so excited because I start my vacation next week We had a lot of systems problem at work yesterday, so I'm definitely ready for a break.
love2b150 Congrats on day 2 of your plan. How long is the diet? Or do you follow until you reach your desired weight?
dcapulet Hope your stressful days are behind you!
Martine on the workouts this morning. You're on a roll. I just do 30 minutes and then some weight training. I probably should bump it up a bit. Sending you for staying on plan today.
Kukkie84 I'm glad that your migraine is gone, it's so hard to function with one.
Waving hi all around Have a great Friday everyone!

It's the weekend! Hope everyone will get to enjoy it. We'll be busy prepping the appartment to put up and our Christmas tree and doing some shopping for said tree. I just love all things Christmas.
Taking a break from exercising today. My weight keeps going up and down and it's reaaaally annoying.
Well it's snowing here today and the high will be 36 degrees not really ready for this but what can you do lol. We are suppose to get only up to 5 inches, so we'll see.
On the positive side, I'm starting my staycation lol. I'm going to run errands in a few and get back inside before the roads get bad.
Crazy week at work and just now realize that this is the first time I've checked in since last Saturday! Had a long discussion with my supervisor about my ever increasing workload and how often I work weekends. I have a wonderful supervisor by the way and she completely acknowledged the extra time. I'm fortunate to work on a university campus where it's not unusual to have flexible schedules. Since I often work to at least 6 pm I requested to start a bit later in order to work later. I'll start my new schedule, hopefully, after Thanksgiving.
Today is our annual Turkey Trot that I last ran two years ago. I walked to the farmer's market early this morning avoiding the main streets where I'd likely see runners. I still saw a few and seeing them with their bibs on warming up made me both nostalgic and sad. Of course I could have walked the thing, but I'm in this very bad head space that if I don't run it, it doesn't count. That's some messed up mindset and thinking right there ! I've already resolved that I will participate next year whether I or walk!
It's my TOM and weight was up to 206. Not sick at all, just feeling icky . I always feel this way during TOM.
The snow is still coming down here unfortunately! I'm just thankful that I still have power. Many of my friends that I have spoken to tonight are without power.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. Will check in tomorrow morning. Have a good night!

Martine, we must be twins separated at birth! LOL My belly gets in the way tying my shoes. I have to wear slip ons.
And I also do perfect with breakfast and lunch and it goes down hill from there. It's like I feel that I was so good I can splurge a little.
If you like to sew, why not get a used sewing machine? People who sew a lot are always upgrading, and sell their old machine even though it still works good. And I see them in Goodwill from time to time, if you have one near you.
Looks like the snow is behind us now, but they said that we may get another inch, which isn't bad. Most areas here yesterday got 5-11 inches yesterday
I could barely sleep last night due to the snow trucks plowing the streets at 3 am lol. But oh, well, I'll survive. I don't sleep all that much anyway.
I hope that everyone has a great Sunday. It's time for me to make my and just relax.
hi all around
