Amanda, you're almost there! And good work on your running.

138.4 this morning. I think 140 has become my Scarlet O'Hara weight, as in "as God is my witness, I will never see 140 again!" It means I'm in the normal BMI range, I can wear size mediums, I feel pretty good.

My high school chum left me a message last night that her husband just got laid off so her trip was cancelled. So I can stay home and lift weights instead.

Hi all, I'm up a little from yesterday to 151. Not a big deal I did eat too many calories yesterday! But am expecting to stay on track.

Diana enjoy your night and keep plugging away!

Steph-do you find that lifting has helped your weight loss? sometimes I feel like I'm spinning my wheels with the cardio...my body isn't being challenged or something. IDK I think I'm going to follow suit tonight and get to the gym to lift...it's not my favorite by any means but I've got to do something different.

aka, I do like lifting. I started way back when, after I lost 100 pounds while I was in college. I've been lifting on and off since then, using a home gym I bought 30 years ago and some free weights. I don't lift super heavy, but I can bench press 70 pounds and do squats at 80. I like feeling strong enough to lug around bags of mulch and there's the whole osteoporosis thing - doing weight-bearing exercises helps with bone density. Frankly, that's reason enough - I'm short enough, I don't want to shrink!

Hey everyone! I'm up to 151.8 this morning . I think the other night where I ate way too many calories (over 2500) and the Chinese food from last night are saying hello! Suppose I'd better get my butt back in the gym. I haven't worked out since Thursday.

Good luck everyone!

Hi Everyone!

Quick post, I'll be back later tonight.

I did something totally crazy today! Are you ready for this? I booked me and DH for a cruise! A CRUISE! I can't believe I did it! This will be the first one for me. DH went on one when he graduated HS. A cruise! Me on a cruise!

It's been a tough week. Up 2 lbs, back down 1 lb, and it's only Thursday. Trying to make it back down another lb so I can just call this week a wash.
