Ona ~ 6 lbs since the first o fthe month is great. I'm sure things will start moving again soon - your body is probably just taking a break.
Vixsin ~ Great job!
Matilda ~
Love2b ~ 2.6 down!!!
Diana ~ I think you are solidly into onederland . . . look at you go!
Angie ~ Congrats on your 1.6.
Kukkie ~ 2.5 is awesome and quitting smoking even better!
Coondocks ~ have fun on your golf outing. It's great exercise (so I hear - I've never played). My dad had a lot of health problems starting in his mid-50s but he played golf and always walked the course instead of riding. The doctors said that habit probably added years to his life. He lived to 74.
findingmyself ~ 2.4 down - way to go.
Sorry if I missed anyone. Our group is growing so much it's hard to keep up (that's a good thing that our group is growing). Have a good day!
1 - 164.0 Two mornings in a row - maybe it will stick!
2 - 163.5 I'm overweight!
3 - 164.5 Because I'm technically 1/4" over 5'2", I'm still overweight (barely); otherwise
4 - 164.0 ...

Down .5 this morning to 259.0. Not too bad! One week total of 2.5 pounds! I am also still pretty tired from yesterday. I got to work at 7:45am yesterday and left there at 9:15pm.
Aimee - That's a crazy long day, way to go on the 2.5!! Funny thing with me and carbs . . I don't even like bread or pasta unless I make it myself, and even then a half portion and I'm good - go figure
Mama P - Its a work golf tournament, just a fun day but I think i need it to re group, should beinteresting providing the weather holds.
Kukkie - You are just awesome all rolled up in one! Congrats on quitting smoking, so impressive!

So this weekend was my daughter's 3rd birthday and we had a party, AND there was cake and ice cream (I made her an Ariel cake and it was so cute! **Patting myself on the back**) Despite the yummy food and NO exercise since Friday, I managed to stay the same.
I didn't gorge myself, I did have the cake and ice cream, but just a sliver and a few spoonful's. So I am happy! I thought about bringing my workout clothes to work and walk the track today, but it was already 90 degrees at 6:30 this morning! Uh, no thanks don't want to be sweaty all day! So I will do my normal work out tonight!
It looks like everyone is doing pretty awesome!
Star- Thanks for the encouragement! You keep it up too, doing great girl!I have those "take a step back and then move forward days too"!
Kukkie - You really are making such an important change for your health! I used to smoke and it is so hard to quit! Especially when others smoke around you, those were always hard times for me. I had to stop going out with the girls until I could manage it better! You are doing awesome!! One day at a time!
Vixin- Fantastic loss! You are moving right along! So cool!
Ona- Hang in there! It's going come off again! At least its not going up!
Thanks ladies for sharing your successes and concerns today. It makes me feel I am not alone in this whole losing weight journey!

Thanks Kukkie, I'm so happy things are settling down for you ...
oops Sorry Angie, ... idk sometimes husband need us just as much as our children I am terrified of that size 8 it looks so tiny. But thanks for having faith in me that I'll be able to get into it
Hi Kris .6 will say good-bye soon
Thanks Aimee ... I'm gonna work this out. It's nothing new (same stuff) I just have to make things fit without losing it
Thanks Coondocks you're making me ...
Kuchuck great job on the .5 down
Paris great job on the cake and ice cream this weekend. Our birth dates start up here soon ... two in Oct, then Dec, Jan, Feb, March and me in April. Lots of cake and ice cream and other junk also
Kristi ... good for you on being so positive with the water gain and knowing that it'll drop soon. Our bodies are so interesting
I made a Tastefully Simple Almond pound cake on Friday and it is 170 calories before you add butter and 310 calories after. I have been having a slice for breakfast every morning and it's not too bad. I count it in but then I haven't been counting anything else but haven't done so bad, hope it keeps up
Kukkie: You're doing amazing! I knew that you knew what that right decision was for you to be successful. I am glad that you waited until you felt more ready. Im really glad for you! It is definitely not easy and you're doing great!!
Love: That almond pound cake sounds divine!!! Yummers!
Kristi: It's ok, just take it in stride. You know most of that is water because you were pretty well on plan. It will go away in a couple of days!
Noel: Nice job on staying consistant! Great victories this weekend with the party and eating some off plan foods but making sure not to gorge yourself! That's great progress, right there!
Swim: Holy Long Shift, Batman!!! Great job on the 2.5! You rock!
Kuchick: Congrats on that .5!
Kris: Hang in there! Your loss is coming, I can feel it!
Coon: My friend!! I'm sorry your weekend kind of tanked. But like every one says, today is a new day, this is a new week! You have come too far and worked way too hard to let one little pesky weekend stop you!! Remember that fire you had last week? I sure do! It's still right there. All we have to do is dust off and get right back at it! You're my hero! I always look forward to your posts! One foot in front of the other....and anyone here has a shoulder that you can lean on when you need to!
I have this tattooed on my wrist in German. It says "Es ist ein neuer Tag." I got it about 3 years ago after a particularly bad bout of depression. One night I had a full bottle of pills in one hand and a bottle of alcohol in the other when I received a phone call from a kid that grew up with my kids. He said he called to tell me that he knew I was having a difficult time and that he loved me and a lot of other people loved me. He was 19 yrs old at the time. They all call me mama - hence my user name. He probably saved my life that night. The next morning I walked out the front door and the cool fall air felt so good I took a deep breath and for some reason I said out loud to myself "it is a new day." The tattoo followed shortly after. It is in German for my sister who took her own life in 2001 - she was a German teacher for 28 years. I chose my wrist because I wanted to see it every day and remember - and there is no way I can pop a handful of pills or anything else into my mouth without seeing it.
Mama, thank you for sharing your story with us. It's amazing how one person's words can have such a profound impact on us. I'm so glad that you were able to overcome your depression and are here to tell us about it today. I'm also glad that you have a reminder (in this case a tattoo) to remind yourself how strong you have become.
Aimee,2.5 for the week is great!!! keep it up!!! thanks
LNoel, you did great to make it threw the party and weekend without gaining.Things will get back to normal for you now.
We're all in this thing together thanks, for the encouraging words you're right..things could always be worst.
Swimgirl - OMG, the 180s! I hadn't even thought about i terms of being in the 180s - that seems so small, and I'm almost there! I've been so focused first on Onderland and now on the big 100 that I sort of forget to look at wear I am right this second . As for rewards for goals - I really, really need a new bra, and I have to buy expensive ones. I love the last ones I got, but they are really getting too big (no, wait, I'M GETTING TOO SMALL! ), so I'm going to splurge on at least one fancy new one. I don't think I'll make it to my 100 lbs lost, though - I'm going to fall out of theses soon, and that won't be pretty! Dh gets paid friday, so I think sometime next week I'll hit the store.
Diana3271 awesome on the .6 and smokefreeness (I made up that word!)
Coondocks Aww, we've all had bad weekends (or weeks. or months. ). The key to success is not letting them keep going. VixsinAwesome weigh in!
Kuukie You're down a lot too. We're just whooshing all over the place on this thread today!
