Weighed in on Saturday and tah-dah! 206.4.....Yesssssss!

Now I CAN'T WAIT to get under that 200 mark!!!

Anyone remember ZOOM?? They still have it on, oh yeah how about lost in space? The banana splits? Captain Kangaroo? The Gong Show? Wow, now I am truly feeling my age.

I have done completely awful with my eating this week, way too much munching, I will probably gain tomorrow or stay the same, I am sure I won't make my 10% goal. Oh well, there is always next week.

I don't know what is going on around here but we all lost electricity for no apparant reason, then we just got it back and not more than 30 seconds ago, my cable went out.

Jennie, welcome to the night owls. I started the night owls thread 3 years ago. I was up real late one night and had just got online and I wanted someone to talk to so I started a thread " any night owls out there?" and that was the beginning of some wonderful friendships.

I've gained 5 lbs because of medical things this past week and I am totally bummed.

Bren, you've GOT to be younger than me. I'm 46. The shows you are naming are more recent. I feel sooooooooooooo old! But a bit of useless info: Captain Kangaroo was the featured speaker at my college graduation in 1978.

PJ...Hope all is well in Florida......and congratulations on becoming a grandma!!! As far as televisions shows...what about Beanie and Cecil and the original Casper the Ghost....and of curse Captain Kangaroo,,,and do you remember Mr Green Jeans???? We had a show that I think may have been local but it was called "Sailor Bob" and yes....I fall in that 40 something category..hehehe

Judygal...I hope you are feeling better....and gee doesn't school start back soon....sory to bring up a sore subject!! I graduated college in 1978 too...seems so long ago sometimes and just like yesterday other times.
