Hi Ladies I thought I'd start the thread b/c wow I have 5 minutes to myself!
Thats a miracle!
Our Romantic weekend lol Went horribly laughably wrong. anyone on the East Coast knows it Poured BUCKETS Saturday MOrning and worst of all in the catskills (where we went) Mind you we had not a clue about it b/c we didn't think to watch the news
we went offroading in a minivan! Roads were shut down due to flooding and it got really creative for a while ofcourse we didn't think to turn back
our 2 hour journey took 4 and a half!
then when we got to our "bed and breakfast" oh my god! there was used food in the fridge used shampoo and mouthwash in the bathroom
NOT TO MENTION Used Soap bars eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
and as we found out the next day used Toothbrushes as well
If the county wasn't in a state of emergency we would have gone home but all we could do was laugh
We saw when we were driving in that a local "tavern" was having lobster night
so we tried to go OH MY GOD ok the band was good. . .so good that a 300 pound woman was gyrating on stage
Mind you good for her to have the guts to do it but it wouldn't have been me
then we tried to get food and No one would even acknowlege our presence
so we ended up going for pizza and ice cream and watching the stars when we got back to the "B&B* i couldn't sleep at all
and the next day when we tried to go to DH's plane fair thing it was cancelled.
If it wasn't so funny I would have split in half
my eating as utter crap
BUT I'm back OP today and going to start journaling again!
I've been up since 6 am dammit I'm taking over the world!

Morning,

I went to a wedding Saturday... it had an open bar... enough said... oops. I ate too much too, not binging, but I ate too much regardless (at least for all my courses I didn't eat everything, but the midnight sweet table seemed like a good idea). I have kind of decided to go back to points though I'll still try and mostly just eat core foods... just easier for me when I have a hankering for pizza

Kierie: Sorry about your weekend, good story though to look back on... all you can basically do with that is just laugh, seems a lot better than crying. I am glad you came out unscathed though.

Wowsers, thats quite the weekend! You handled it pretty good, I would have been too grossed out to stay at that B & B.

Open bars are evil... drinking brings eating, and it wouldn't be bad if you were craving carrot sticks or something along those lines, but it's always pizza, McD's, or anything thats open late..

Well ladies, today is my last day before my vacation! I'm at an all time low.. woohoo! Or I was until my TOM came about. On Saturday I drank SO much water and didn't pee any of it out, it was kinda sick actually, I got on the scale Sunday morning and it said I was up 4 pounds, yes, thats right, 4 pounds of water! I hate that! Anyways, I hope to LOSE weight on my vacation, how you say? I'm going to walk everyday! Cross your fingers for me Well, I'm off to my final day of work! ttyl!

OH my god, girls, you had exciting weekends! Kier - I was laughing out loud. As long as you have a good attitude, taht is all that matters!

I am back from my week-long trip and back on teh weight loss journey - I was as good as could be on the road eating in greasy spoons!!

I joined a circuit club - like Curves but for men and women and I have gone twice - I love it - its quick and fun and I feel like I really work!

I also have some news - we pulled the goalie!! We're TTC. I know it's early, but b/c of my gyno probs we figured the sooner teh better, so we are throwing caution to the wind. Could be over a year for us, esp considering I'll liekly need hormone therapy. No open bars for me Ali!!

18 days to my wedding! I go to WI on Wed and we'll see how I am doing for my BBC.

I can't belive it's so close - i am getting totally excited now!!!

Belle: you're back yah!! Don't worry taht was the first open bar wedding I have been too. I don't plan on having open bar when I have mine too... It's funny, though I am not engaged yet Sacha and I have talked about the wedding and stuff and I think he wants a bigger wedding than I do. wow, I am not ready to pull the goalie yet... I hate gyno problems, I hope you're okay.

Aimee: I could have done a lot worse, I figure it a lesson of life... I'll try not to take advantage of a open bar like that again! I hate water retention, it will come off soon I am sure!
