Ann I love your dream It would really be fun to have a 50&60 chapter there in Florida. And the craft shop idea would that be great! Wonder how much work we get done breaks and all.

Glenda congrats on the new GS. And your weight loss efforts look good.

Maria your too . I'm glad to see you on a down ward trend. I was just watching again on the new how weight loss can help prevent some forms of cancer. I would like to see us all very healthly to a ripe old age

Slavika haave you gotten your curtains done yet? Or did I miss that? We are looking for a double wide home like Anns. Would be nice to find one with 2 Florida Rooms also. One for DH and Me and One for SIL so she can entertain friends herself. Been teasing her about all the men who will be lining up at the door after she gets her bottem teeth and finishes losing weight.

Went to line dancing today learned the Electric Slide And one other i've forgotten the name.

Ann your park sounds like such fun. I sure hope we are able to find something in the area. As I told you we will be looking in your park for sure. I want to be involved in the goings on where ever we decide to settle. Ann hope things turn out well for your friend. and sorry to hear that your losing your Pastor that is always hard.

This is DH last full month of work. He will be on vacation as of May 10. Retirement date is July 30. He is so looking forward to walking away from his job.

I just finished my exercise tape and now i want to go watch some TV not shre what maybe thoe FOOD channel

See you all later

Default Hi All!

Just stopping by to say hi! Don't know where the time goes. I got my new glasses on Saturday and I am struggling to see out of them - I think I'm moving my head constantly to get focused!

More later

Marnie

Hi Everybody

I have a few things to get done this morning before I can sit here at my computer but I just wanted to say that I too, have a Hotmail addy that I use when I am away mostly, because it is easier to do that then through my usual email/internet server. I love that Hotmail only allows the addresses I provide to get into my mail box. NO SPAM.
It seems that lately I have just had a run of SPAM in my regular mailbox. One of the other internet providers we have have here in the City has set up system that stops the spam from getting into their customer's inbox but my provider is still working on setting up a system. I was just going to wait until my provider had an antispam system but then I saw that Norton had a GREAT rebate offer on their software so I decided to get it. The offer was $40.00 off the price of the Antivirus for Canadians (we pay more for software then US customers). I looked to see if there was a similar offer for US customers and there is. The cost of the software in the US is around $39.95US (maybe less in some places) and the rebate offer for US customers is $30.00 so your program would only cost around $10.00. So far I think it is great. When you install the program it will automatically download your address book into the "Allowed" mail and you can also add to this list. The SPAM that comes in is automatically tagged as SPAM and sent directly to your deleted folder. If something has been tagged as spam and it is something you wanted, you can still retrive it from your deleted folder. The antispam system "learns" what is spam and what is not on your computer as it goes along. The program also gets rid of some of the pop up ads and banner ads.
If you want to check it out just go to Symantec Store and you print off the rebate offer COUPON there too.
Those of you with a couple of different email addresses seem to be handling the spam ok without the software.
I still have to walk on my treadmill so I better get going.
It's tea time today, and here I sit in my housecoat at the computer like I have nothing to do today.

Wow! Leave for a few days and you girls talk, talk, talk. First of all, Ann, you don't want me in your craft bunch. I did all that years ago and still have the scars from the glue gun to show for it. But it was fun. Maybe when not working those things could come back. Sounds like you had a very positive changeover for your pastor. Sometimes these kinds of changes can be hard.

About gambling, we have several Indian gambling places around here. And I have never understood the attraction, but they are always so busy. I have never even been inside one. I might have addictions (caffeine, smoking, which I have so far conquered), but gambling will never be one. As my mama used to say, "Never say never," but we honestly don't have that much spare money to throw away.

We saw our new baby Saturday. He is doing fine. I am more worried about the parents than him. Austin is such a handful. I am so glad God gives young people children, aren't you? Our little granddaughter Makenzie is such a little girl. I swear she read The Book on how to be a little girl before she was born. She does those little demure things like dipping her head when she looks at you and offering her little hands to you in the most feminine way. Everything she does is "soft."

Our WW class is down in attendance lately. It was so busy at the first of the year and people are dropping out like crazy. Is that the way it goes usually?
