Default Hello My Dear's!

Well I went to WI however they were closed due to a water main break or something. What are the odds. I have to admit that I am glad though due to TOM. I assume I will not have to pay for this week and that I will get to go next week. I hope for a big loss b/c I have been eating on the low end of my points the entire wk. WE will see. Some times the suspense kills me
Girls: Thanks so much for all of the advice on WI. Like I said I had good intentions
Kieri-HOw is that Kashi stuff. I know it is a great tool for WW but I cannot imagine how it could taste good. Let me know?
Lisa- I want your gym. I have a lifetime membership at one that sucks. I hate it. they sucker you into these lifetime memberships and when you join you realize that it is always overcrowded and that the trainers are H.S students or college freshman who have no training in nutrition at all. I am not downing them b/c of their age but these particular girls are ridiculous. I went to my gym 5 wks before my friends wedding and told them that I would like my arms too just look a bit better b/c of the sleeveless dress I would be wearing. She asked me what my overall goals were and I told her that I need to lose 40 pds or so. She actually told me I could lose almost that in the next 5 wks if I worked out a lot. Can you imagine? I was not happy with her advice. I'm sure?!? Anyways I now do aerobics at a different gym but still be thankful for such a great gym!
Kay-Congrats on your loss!! YOu are so close!!!
Belle 3pds YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the losing queen!!
Kim-Wear that Bathing suit proudly girl! YOu have lost 20.4 pds according to your stats! I know that we all have "issues" about how are bodies "should" look in a b-suit but just go for it. We need to break those stereotypes anyways. O.k. pep talk over Also I feel for you with the allergies in Va. Mine were horrible. My allegra didn't even work in Va. I literally cried b/c I was so frustrated. My roomates thought I was dying. My eyes were always swollen and I looked like death. If regualar allegra doesn't work for you try allegra-d that was the only answer for me.
Brenda-Good job on pts yesterday! Its a day at a time

Ali-good luck on the paper. I too am a procrastination queen

Kirsty- I didn't get an e-mail regarding getting together. I would love to but let me know

Lolly- Go Buffy!!!! I think that will be fun for you!

Tilly-I too love Green peppers. I also have them throw on bell peppers and jalapeno peppers. MMMMMMMM

Tanya-Sorry you are having a down in the dumps day. I hate those I have to tell you thought you are beautiful. I know that some people don't like to hear this and I hope you are not one of them but you were always pretty. I think you look great at 170 too but of course love the change Congratulations!!

Lori- I am so glad that you dragged yourself to the gym! Way to Go!!!

Shalyne I hope you feel better and you can whine anytime you want to. That is part of what we are here for.

Default Great mood today despite the yucky weather

Hey! Well I don't know how I did it, I only ate 23 points yesterday and earned 3 exercise points to boot! I also may have miscalculated my points from Monday and may have saved 2. Yay for me DH is still sick and pitiful. I am in a good modd becasue I started on my mid-term and will hopefully finish it tonight. I had a great talk with my dad last night which also put me in a good modd and some nice emails from friends.

Grace (I can't remember your real name) - I can't stand the suspens e b/t WIs when I think I will have a loss too. Good for you for trying to go. I guess it just wan't meant to be.

Emily - I am sure that the ankle bracelet wil;l fit soon. I wish my DH would start to eat healthy. He just makes such bad choices when we go out. And he really needs to lose at least 40 pounds too.

LoriD - Yippe for you for going to the gym! I am sure that it will have been worth it. You did great on the Japanese food too, way to go!

Tonya - Sorry you are not feeling so perky today. I hope things get better. you are still doing great with your goals

Kim - good luck on the interview while you are in FL. Are you tinking about moving there? I am sure that you will do well on points with your mom around. don't worry about the bathig suit. I'm sure that you look great!

Belle - You kick butt! way to go on a great loss. Keep it up!

Kay - you are doing great. that is super that you are so close to goal. Glad you are back.

Tilley - your gym sounds amazing! I am glad that you enjoy it so much. It really helps you stay motivated to go. I think that you did well last night at dinner but I think you only need half the amount of points for the crust. sounds delicious!

Kierie - I hope that all your tests go well. I used to have cholesterol of 201 when I weighed 234 but now I am totally normal

Shaylene - feel better soon!

Brenda - hope all is going well today.

Kirsty - thanks for starting the idea of getting us together. I am sure we will want to try some of your cocktails at our rendez-vous.

Ok, this is super long again so I will stop. I hope everyone has a good day. I'm sorry if I missed anyone. Hi to Ali, Lolly, Trish, Stacey and all. I'll try to scheck in again later.

Default Just a quickie ...

Hi Guys! Just a flying visit as Blokey is phoning tonight and I don't want to miss him ... he phoned twice last night while I was here at the cybercafe so two nights in a row would be terrible. I have to give him the good news about the tiger! I have just been shopping to the big supermarket that's about 15mins walk from here ... found lots of yummy things, one of my fave things to buy is different kinds of sauce - actually, different kinds of BBQ sauce. Is that weird? I have 2 different types now, and 1 sweet and sour. They're all extra low in points and I use them on EVERYTHING. BBQ sauce and tomato sandwiches - YUMMY! Believe me, buying a new sauce can be a lifesaver when the cake counter is right there staring at you ...

OK I'M A FREAK!

And just to prove it, I went and weighed at a pharmacy today. When I weigh in kilos and convert it always makes me MAD. Now I KNOW I am less than last WI, so I don't believe the evil scale when it says I'm 1lb more ... so I shall go again next week and make sure it is at least going in the right direction. And I ran 18 minutes this morning!

Ok, enough showing off ... Tonya, your photos are fabby! Kim, ohhhhhhhhhhhh for a holiday in Florida. Have a triffic time! Lisa - incredible gym! Wow, you guys in the US have such a choice - 24 hour ones, ones with internet ... ours are pretty basic. Kierie - I buggered up my metabolism with Slimfast while I was at school. IT'S EVIL!!!

Everyone else, hugs!

Lolly

Default Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t

I gained .8. I'm sure it's my own fault, because I've been so sloppy, but I did. Back over 20 lbs. again. My leader gave me a little booklet on getting over plateaus, but it really is my own fault. I got too cocky after I got to the 20 lb.-mark and thought I could eat. I've just got to be more careful and write down what I eat. When I don't do that, I fall off the wagon, so to speak.

I'm not changing my sig.

Default DID YA MISS ME???

Well, I am back for 2 days, then gone for the weekend again! I tried to get on this morning but couldn't!! Argg.... so anyhooo, I am trying to catch up, so bare with me!!! I hope I don't miss anything.... if something really GREAT happened, fill me in so I am not out of the loop!

As for my trip... the business part went OK! I think Oregon is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I would move there!! Seeing my cousin again was also nice. She has a really nice hubby and kids!!

Poor Emma was horribly sick tho! We didn't know what was wrong and we were pretty scared. She was throwing up and had diarreha the whole time. Luckily, at 2 in the morning hubby ran to a 24 hour store and found some pedialite! Poor baby. She is still sick, but doing better. I found out this morning at daycare that a baby had the rotavirus (sp) last week (tummy bug that causes these same symptoms!) and didn't tell daycare until Monday! So that is probably what she got. AND IT MAKES ME MAD!! I can't tell you how many parents dump their sick kids off at daycare because they don't want to miss work! Then all the kids get sick. Emma started daycare in January and is the youngest baby.... she has been sick so many times. It breaks my heart!

So that is my speach!

BELLE... YAHOOOOOO ON THE LOSS! I saw that post right away when I got here! Because I am gone this weekend, I am missing WI this week! I hope to have a great loss next week!

OK, my problem... While I was gone I didn't really track points because it was hard. BUT, I ate well and didn't snack!!! We ate almost all meals out and I chose the lower fat items!! BUT, we got home yesterday and what did I do... I ate whatever I could find at home. That made me mad! So I am back counting today and am at 12 points! YAH, and it is 3:00 PM! BUT, got my montly today and feel crappy so I want to eat!

UGHHH, a neverending vicious cycle!

Sorry I missed everyone, but I know I won't me completely caught up until next week when I get back! Hope everyone is doing FABULOUS!
