Kierie, I'll try and scan a photo somehow. I have a digital camera, but I haven't figured out how to get photos off it, yet! I have a crappy home computer and it won't let me ... I gotta see if I can do it at work.

Thanks for the kudos, everyone! Becky: I feel more determined now than before the wedding. I mean, I got down to 179 for the wedding (then gained it back), but now, I want to have a baby so badly I'm doing everything I can to get healthy. I'm going to a salsa aerobics class tonight, yes, a Friday night. I'm so boring. There is a cool band playing in Virginia Beach tonight, but it's a band that DH and I follow and probably no one else does, and he has to work. Everyone else here at the paper seems to have other plans, and my cousin, who lives in this area, doesn't do that sort of stuff. Sad, huh? She has a baby and her husband doesn't like to be left alone with the baby. I've never understood their relationship and even less, now. He's so controlling ... but that's another story.

Laura: Sounds like you're doing great! What's Yoga for Energy? Is it a tape? I'd like to find a good yoga tape to do at home. I love yoga and Pilates ... the Y offers yoga, but only one night a week. How dumb is that? All the other classes are early morning (no way for me!) and early evening, like 5. I can't get out of work at that time.

Emily: Yup, OP is on program. PS I like your quote in your sig!

Ok Emily I am so glad that you tried it and liked it! I was afraid I was exposing my geekiness I may print mine out too!

Kim~ I didn't realize that you lost that much for the wedding. Yah I wasn't that determined either. I basically just wanted my dress to fit. BTW I have got to scan some pics to show all of you! Anyways, Sorry about the concert and have fun at aerobics. Salsa hmmm, I have always wanted to try those belly dancing videos. Has anyone else tried them????

Just a quickie, as I'm off to play golf in a sec...I have a bellydancing DVD with Neenah and Veenhah, and I love it. It's a huge strength training thing, because you're moving very gracefully and slowly, and you are just shaking to maintain the poses and positions that you're holding while your lil tummy just does a thing all its own. It's an excellent workout in my opinion.

Jayne - I've been wondering about those bellydancing videos, too! could you let me know the title of the one you have cause i'd love to add it to my colelction!

i was just thinking...what is the point of me eating reduced fat peanut butter (which does NOT taste as good as regular) if, tablespoon-for-tablespoon it has the same number of calories as the regular?!? plus the reduced fat is HIGHER in carbs! haha...i should've compared those labels a week ago!!!

Talking Hello!!

Hi everyone!! Whoo, it's been busy in here today... I'll try to respond to everything...

Kier--Telling myself that I AM IN CONTROL made such a big difference in my eating and exercise. Sometimes I have to tell myself that over and over, but it hasn't NOT worked yet. I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling better!! Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned, have a great one!!

Becky--Yikes, it sounds like kind of an unpleasant work environment for you. And it sounds like you have a fun weekend planned too!! Enjoy!! Glad to hear that eating was good yesterday, keep up the good work!! I LOVE mvm.com. Of course, since I put on my recent 15 lbs, I haven't been back.

Jayne--My friend, I love you dearly, but I detest morning people. I am the anti-morning-person. People avoid me until about 2 in the afternoon because I'm so unpleasant to be around. Maybe I need someone like you around to help me get out of bed in the morning--it starts out on-time on Monday. By Friday, I'm getting up 20 minutes before I need to leave. It's not a pretty sight when this happens... Bellydancing, eh? I've always wanted to learn to do that, maybe if I ever get out of the stone age and get a DVD player, I'll get that DVD. Have fun golfing!!

Amber--Way to go only gaining .8--that's nothing!! You'll have that long-gone in no time at all. Have a nice weekend!!

(Has anyone noticed that I love using exclamation points?!?!?)!!

Laura--That is fabulous that you're down 1.2 lbs from your last WI. Yikes, another morning person... I get up only once in awhile to go to a Yoga/Pilates class at 6 a.m. on Fridays. And lately I can't even drag myself out of bed for that. Doesn't that taco casserole sound great??

Kim--That points bracelet sounds great. I have one, but pearls aren't really "me", I'd love to see a picture, too. And how much would she charge for them?

Emily--Hello there!! I don't think we've "met", so HI, and oh yeah, I am SO glad it's Friday.

So, my plans for the weekend are pretty boring. Tonight, it's work at job #2, tomorrow morning, it's work at job #2, tomorrow night I'm hoping to go to a street dance with a girl here at work. That's about all I have planned, though. I want to get some stamping done, too--it's my therapy. And with Aaron staying with me right now (long story), I really need therapy...

I've been OP all week, yay for me!! Unfortunately, I only see the numbers on the scale going up, which kind of concerns me. My mom takes thyroid medication and I believe that's genetic, I wonder if my gaining weight after losing it threw something off. I'll stick to it a couple more weeks and if things don't start improving, I'll go to the doctor. And yes, I'm a hypochondriac...

It's Smart Pop time!! See ya!!

Wow! This place is busy today.

KT - where are you? You O.K. girl?

Kierie - don't bother trying to figure out an outfit. It's too hot out for clothes. Or for thinking that hard.

Emily - have you tried Better-n-Peanut Butter? Lower cal's and lower fat but also lower protein.

Becky - I'm with you on losing the motivation to work. If you find it, let me know. Mine's been missing for about a year.

Kim - Congrats on the loss!! I'm so impressed by your willingness to take work-out classes and try new things like salsa aerobics. I'm so afraid of looking like a dork that I won't try new stuff or exercise with other people. Which leads me too.....

Jayne - I was looking for a yoga or pilates class to take while my yoga instructor is on maternity leave and found a belly dancing class. If it is that much fun, maybe I should consider it and work on my phobia's too.

It's official. I'm a HUGE dork. My mom, grandma, sister and sils all live several 100 miles from me and some have never seen my home. They are always asking what I need/want for the house for bday & xmas gifts. I got frustrated with all the inquiries. So I set-up a wedding registry at BB&B. I'm not getting married but I have a wedding registry. Whatever.

Laura

Laura: I'm sure I look like a dork! I do especially with salsa. I've only been to a few classes so far and I'm just getting some of the steps! And yoga ... some of those moves my big belly just gets in the way!

I'll try and scan a photo of my homemade points bracelet next week. My sister would probably charge about $15 for one, b/c she's using pretty good materials and real stones, not just plastic beads. Mine has chunks of amber on it, too. It really just looks like a very cool bracelet!

Can I join the fun everyone?! Hi! I'm Brona. 26, married & live in St. Louis. I've lost 44 3/4 since 1/23/03 & have about 33 to go. I LOVE WW!! Best diet (I mean lifestyle change) out there. I wi on Thursdays. I only lost 1/4 last night, but that was just fine w/ me. I was so scared to wi after the 4th. I thought for sure I was going to gain. Also, I am training for a marathon. It is 9/21. 26.2 miles!!!!!! Am I crazy?! When I 1st started ww in January, if someone asked me to do a marathon I would've laughed at them, but here I am 5 months later. I hope to talk you all of you often.

Have a great weekend!!! Brona

Hey girls,

I had a rough night last night....drank waaay too much. Played a lot of games of flip cup at the bar after kickball, did a few shots and had vodka and lemoande during the game.....Needless to say, not a good idea considering how little I ate yesterday. Anyway, I weighed in this morning and am down 7(what??) lbs. Ok....I wonder if my scale is messed up or something. Well, I'll change my sig and we'll see.

Becky, my boss is exactly the same as your co-workers. She complains about not losing weight but will eat McDonalds for both breakfast and lunch. I've also done the virtual model thing....any kind of motivation helps

I'm with Jess, all you morning people are nuts!! Although it would be nice to get a workout done in the morning and not have to worry about it.

Laura, that wedding registry is hilarious! Makes sense though...

Well, everyone's probably on their way out of work or on to Friday night plans....I have a friend's b-day celebration at a bar tonight, so that means more drinking,....I'm taking tomorrow night off!

Welcome Brona and hi to everyone else.
