Good morning: Well, I made it picking up my Kindergarten . My older son took the bus.

We did get about 20 inches of snow, drifts are even higher! The kids don't have school and My husband got off work too! But....me? I have to go in. (maybe they will change their mind by the time I go in at 4:00)My husband is already on my nerves! I wanted to buy a snow blower and he said no. Well, who shoveled yesterday? Me!!!Well, I'm not doing it today. he will. I think I'm pmsing thanks for letting me vent!

hey Tami-- it looks like it is you and me. Where is everyone???

20 inches of snow--- WOW-- we are having an ice storm now. No school-- but my kids are going to my aunts (their daycare--right next door)-- snow days at my aunts are more fun then home because there are other kids and my aunt is fun. I gave them the choice (I already paid for the day-- my son goes on Thursdays-- he is four) and they wanted to go-- SCORE. A day of peace-- I am going to wrap their gifts today.

It is my weigh in day-- I will post again later. It is my TOM so I am not too excited about going although I did my menus to the tee-- but on my scale I gained a couple of pounds. I am meeting my Mom at the gym later so maybe I can lose some of this nasty bloatation.

I was going to scream at you for eatting those chocolates until I realized that you shoveled all of that snow-- GOOD FOR YOU!! Shoveling snow is strenuous!!! The goodies are very hard to walk away from-- TIS THE SEASON.

Stay warm Tami-- I will post about my weigh in later tonight or tomorrow AM-- wish me luck!!

Sorry, I've been out of this loop and we have left Tami to talk to herself!! How rude?!

Tami-You go girl with the shoveling! I'm in NC and we don't have snow often, but last year we have a whopping 20 inches during one storm and I thought I would die trying to clear a little path to get my car out of the garage! Thumbs up to ya and you probably needed the chocolate to get you through (maybe not the whole box, but what the heck!)

Amy-THINK THIN THINK THIN THINK THIN and wear something light to your weigh-in...no jeans and tennis shoes!! If that doesn't help, start cursing and swearing and taking off your clothes and I'm sure they'll write down whatever you want them to

Talk to you guys soon.

Kim

Good afternoon: Well, last night driving home from work was horrible! We got another 5 inches of snow. The roads were so bad, I didn't take my kids to school even tho school was open. It was just too dangerous!

Kim the chocolates were good, I only have half the box, but thats bad..

amy that is nice having your aunt babysit and next door! Theres a home daycare down my street, but I'm just not sure about it. I've seen a few police cars there regarding an ex-wife. Good luck on your weigh in

Hello!

Well-- I am down another 1.75 pounds-- thought for sure I would have a gain because of my TOM-- but the scale god was looking down on me!! I was thrilled to say the least! SO 5.75 in two weeks-- that is pretty good and excellent since "Tis the Season"!!!

We found out about the new program last night- not too different but stricter as far as points go and I lost some points in my range. But I am going to have the attitude of "the stricter the better"-- it can only mean I will lose easier if I follow the rules!

Tami-- yeh I would have a few concerns if the cops were visiting the daycare-- follow your instincts. My kids wouldn't be in daycare if it weren't my aunt (27 years in business)-- I lived with her for a while when I was growing up and I am pretty close to her-- so it is very easy for me to leave them there-- it really is a family setting. Daycare is a tough decision, I have been very fortunate!

Were do you live again?? I don't remember-- somewhere where they rarely close school! My sister lives in Buffalo and her daughter goes to school no matter what!! The schools here close for a dusting-- and for ANY ice storm because we just don't have the capabilities to clean the back roads.

Well-- let's keep up the good work of counting our points! Just think we have a head start on everyone-- all the people who will make weight loss there resolution for the New Year. We will be ahead of the game!

Thanks Kim for the THINK THIN mantra-- it worked!! Any weekend shing digs?? Or will you be going to the movies? I want to see Castaway and that one with Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt. Going to the movies is a Luxury-- but starting in January Jim and I will go back to Date night once a month!

GOT TO RUN.... literally
