Default Thursday!

Hi All,

I haven't started a thread in a while so why not eh! I hope everyone is doing well today. We got a lot of snow last night. I know it is now officially Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, but it doesn't feel like it. Oh well, the weather should improve soon I am sure!

Yes Ali does have a date tonight, date #3 to be precise!! The guy is younger too hehehehe.

It's weird, since I have lost weight I have heard how some people talk about overweight people, it is DOWNRIGHT nasty and unnecessary in my opinion. Where on earth do some people get such down right hate towards the obese? Even though I am no longer in the "obese/overweight" catergory, I can't believe the way a few people talk about it and am still sensitive about it.

Anyhoo I hope everyone has a good day!

Ali

Good morning!

Not much happening here, just wanted to poke my head in and say hello. I was pretty darn late for work today, so I have a lot to do in not much time. Oh well, I guess. Nothing I can do about it.

Ali--I'm still in the overweight category (but not for much longer, yay!!) so I don't hear all the things that people say--I think they're a little more careful around me since I am still heavy. But, yes, I know people do say some terrible things about obese people and it's not fair. I can't say that I've never made a comment, and I'm willing to say that it's low self-esteem that made me say it. People always say that people with low self-esteem say mean things to make themselves feel better. I just ended up feeling worse about myself. Not only was I overweight, I was also a b*tch. Needless to say, I don't say much anymore.

OK, I gotta get some stuff done here. One of these days, I should be able to post more.

I'll be back later.

Hi all,

Not too much time to chat. I'm off to work in a few minutes. I had a great workout yesterday & it really helped my energy level. I didn't even feel that tired anymore I love experiencing the perks of regular exercise I don't think I'll make it to the gym today. We're heading home for the weekend tonight & I've got lots of packing & cleaning to do before DF gets home from work so we can leave right after that. Its our marriage prep course this weekend. They gave us a list of everything we're going to be talking about & DF was lik "this is going to be so boring b/c we've already talked about/dealt with all this stuff" I guess that's what happens when you live together for four years before you have the wedding! I really its not hope too boring. I also hope that we're not the only people there who live together. I feel like a hypocrit in a way because we're getting married in a church but yet we live together. This prep thing is put on by the church. Should be interesting. Hopefully we'll also have some time to visit family. Plus my Mom & I are still working on my wedding dress. Has anyone heard from Lori since her wedding? I wonder how it went. A nyway Hi to all you peoples I've got to run to work now. If I don't get on here before I leave everyone have a great weekend

-Rina

Angry Hi girls!

Rina - Have a great weekend! I'm so proud of you for becoming a regular exerciser! It really helps me so much mentally - that is the main reason I stick with it. Hope the class isn't too boring...

Jess - Hope to hear more from you soon! Hang in there...

Ali - Date #3??? Man, I'm jealous! I am in a drought and would be happy to get Date #1 right about now! I swear, it really is feast or famine with me and I am in a serious famine! Anyway, have a great time and let us know how it goes!

Not much new here. I'm taking my 3 year old niece to see some Blues Clues show this weekend. She is sooooo excited! She already thinks she has the best aunt ever because I always take her to do fun stuff. My sister can't even tell her I am coming over without her asking where I am taking her! And on Sunday, I am supposed to attempt an 8K (5K is the most I've ever done in a race situation) but I am going to wait and see what the weather is going to be like. As of now, it is supposed to be in the low 30's with snow flurries. I don't think so! But I guess I need to get thru the next 2 days at work before I should be dreaming about the weekend.....

EVERYONE COME OUT AND PLAY!!!!!!

JenK: Yeah I had a huge rut this summer and then things got rolling again. Just remind yourself that within our cohort there are more guys then girls so I am sure you'll find a guy to hang around and have fun with soon (maybe a young prospective lawyer? )that's what I like about this guy, it just seems to be happening in a slow, innocuous manner in a way which is just fun! Nothing too serious, I have learned not to take things so fast and this is at the pace which I like. BTW how long did you study for your LSATS before you took them?

Rina: Don't worry, many people get married in churches who've lived together! Trust me once you get addicted to exercise you'll experience the energizerbunny syndrome, you'll never want to stop being busy etc! Good Luck with your dress.

Speaking of missing 20somethings, has anyone heard from Sarah?

Jess: Heck I used to weigh 256lbs and some comments that I made were not the nicest either, but not quite as nasty as some of the stuff I have heard recently..

Hmmmmm did you know fast food chains are expecting upcoming lawsuits about their food causing obesity/death etc... I dunno about that, sure I ate McDonald's but that was my own choice, I was completely aware of how unhealthy it was etc.

Also, I smelled Kraft Dinner and realized I haven't eaten that stuff in almost 2 years!

Take Care Y'All!!

Default LSAT info

Ali - I took the LSAT this past October and started studying in June. I took a prep course one night a week, because that is the only way I could get myself to stay on track. It was a good class because we took 3 full length tests as practice, so by test day I was used to how long the test is. Do you know if the test there is the same one we take in the US? If so, I could send you the books that I used to study since I don't need them anymore.

Hey there!

I got into work at 9 a.m. today and was asked by no less than three people: What are you doing here? I usually don't come in until 10 or 11. But I stay until 8 or 9 or later and always get my work done.So there! Today, I had to drop my car off early to get worked on, and I had a meeting at 10 anyway.

But as a result, I'm tired! I've had three cups of coffee and I still feel sluggish! But I was good at my meeting ... there were all sorts of goodies and I only had one little brownie thing. Of course, I had already had breakfast at McDonalds. So it wasn't like it was a huge victory. And of course, I can't eat the rest of the day.

Well, I better run. I'll stop by later!
