Default Dropping in...

Just dropping in to say good morning (man, I hate mornings more every day!!)

I had WI last night, I'm down 2.2 lbs to 177.8 and have reached my 10%. Even though I've asked them to please not use the very first weight they have for me (I weighed first with my shoes on, didn't like it and weighed again without my shoes), they're still using my original weight os 201.2, even though it really should be 197.8. Oh well, it seems like I've lost more weight if I go by the heavier weight.

Anyway, 10%!! Yay!! I'm VERY happy and the keychain they give you for that is really nice. I want to put it on my keys, but I'm not sure I should, I'm scared that it will fall off and I'd be so upset if that happened. Does anyone carry on their key ring? How about other ideas for what to do with it?

OK, I better get my butt in gear, I have work to do... Sigh.

Hey Jess... CONGRATS!!! I have my keychain hooked on my purse. That way it won't break as easy.

Hey Kirsty!!!!

Well, nothing new with me, just lots of stress with work and stuff!!! Hubby is making me clean out my wool stash (I spin wool for a hobby) and I am selling it on ebay. Last night I was washing a bunch I found. I love to spin, but I have so much yarn with no time to make anything out of it. Oh well!!!

Have a great day everyone...

Morning all!

How are you all today? I am once again tired. Couldn't get to sleep until after 1 I was all freaked out by my gain but now I realize it must be water weight because I am PMSing hardcore. At first I didn't think it was because when I had my WI my TOM wasn't due for 8 days but by later that night I could tell I was in full blown PMS. That makes me feel a little better but man I hate pms! I'm heading over to workout shortly. I don't really feel like it cuz I'm so tired but I figure I should at least go do some cardio. Then I'm off to do some errands before I go to work this afternoon.

Jess, Congrats on hitting your 10%! Way to go! That is so great! Keep it up

Kirsty, have fun at body conditioning

Everyone else come out & post! Talk to you all later

-Rina

Eek, I've restarted the Pill due to my skin and all and guess what my appetite and water retention have been out of control. It has been like this is the first time on the pill all over again. I am thinking of switching to Alesse or one of the lower dose ones... I hate feeling bloated and that is all I have been feeling as of late.

Rina: Water retention bites!!!! Sorry to hear you're having problems with PMS as well

Jen-L: That sounds like a good hobby to have though, it keeps your hands occupied which is always good! Do you cross-stitch or anything? I am thinking about doing that again. I also like making bracelets, kind of silly and teenage-ish I know, but I always found the rhythm of making them relaxing. I want to take a knitting course soon!

Jess: Congrats! My first keychain dismantled one day during an ice storm, but the second one has been good to me!

Kirsty: I am glad you're having fun with body conditioning. I have been on a weight training program for a while and I love it. Oh and last week I had a work out date, that was fun, tomorrow is date #3 and that's a dinner one

Have a good day!

Ali

hey jess, jen, rina and ali!

i don't know if this will help anyone else but last time i went to my doctor i told her i was worried about PCOS cos i had some of the symptoms. anyhow. she prescribed me some diuretics (spironolactone) which can help treat some of the side effects (such as bloating, spots, excess hair etc). and i reckon they're def doing something in terms of bloating and water retention. and it seems to have helped me drop a few pounds. if anyone else is in a similar position it might be worth considering asking your doctor about it.

i'm feeling very tired now after "body conditioning". it was a new lady taking the class and boy was she tough! she did a lot of dance moves in the warm up, which was great, but i had to avoid looking in the mirror cos the other folk in the class kept making me giggle. we all looked so stiff and ungainly next to the teacher!
work calls. be back later,
kirsty

hey jen,

looks like it's just you and me (although i have spotted some others lurking - you know who you are). what did you make when you had time to spin wool?
so - why's everyone hiding? i know i sometimes don't post when i've been bad with my points and i feel guilty...but the best way to get over that is to come on here, confess everything and then get back on track. that's why we're here - to support each other!
stacey - how's the chocolate ban going? i still haven't touched ice cream, but i must admit i'm looking forward to having some come easter!! although, i am not going to eat as much as i was before lent cos the pounds were coming on. moment on the lips....

Hi guys!

I am here, just haven't had a few extra minutes to post. My department is moving to a new building next week, and my DH and I are starting to build a new house, so I have been talking to our builder, lining up the perk test and such. I have been so busy that I haven't been tracking points, just trying to "watch" what I eat. It is too hard to be swamped with things to do, and try to have counting points as a top priority, but as soon as things calm down, I am back at it!!

Ali ~ I hope your #3 date goes well, fill us in!

Kirsty ~ Glad to have you back. I agree, the board has been quiet, but I promise I will post more!!

Hi Jen and Jess!!

Well, work calls, I will try to post more this afternoon!

Default Hi again!

I have to admit, I've been lurking more than posting lately. I'm so busy here at work and have been working through my lunch and morning breaks. Unfortunately, I don't foresee things slowing for me for quite awhile. Maybe never.

But, I did want to stop and say hello since Jen and Kirsty are lonely.

Ali--When your first keychain dismantled, did they give you another one? Also, it's too bad that you don't live in Nebraska, we could take a knitting course together, I'd like to learn to do that and crochet. If I started knitting everytime I wanted to eat, I'd have LOTS of afghans.

OK, nose back to the grindstone....

HELLLLOOOOOOO People!! Glad you came out!!

I spin my wool into yarn and I use it for knitting. I also crochet, and cross stitch and sew and quilt and just about every other craft you can think of. I am also teaching kids to crochet and soon to sew/quilt. No wonder I have no time for myself!!!

Tonya... I didn't know you bought land! Last time I heard, you decided not to buy the land you thought you wanted. Tell all!!!

Me again!

Jen ~ We bought 1.10 acres (a lot really) of a subdivision located next to the golf course in our town. It is nice and the subdivision is wooded, a nice "country" feel but just on the edge of town. We are building a ranch home with cathedral ceilings and a finished basement. Our screened in deck will have an 8 man jacuzzi in it!! We are excited, but still lots to plan before the first shovel (should happen the end of June.).

Here is a link to our floor plan if you are interested....

Very nice Tonya! And that is one huge jacuzzi!!!!! Hope you have lots of friends! We want to put a smaller tub on our patio, but ours isn't screened in. I like the 1/2 screen and 1/2 open in your plan!!! You have to post in progress pics! We are looking for land to build in the next 10 years. I want at least 10 acres, but that means lots of money here!!
