I forgot! You guys would have cracked up last night at water aerobics. This swimsuit is very faded, wearing thin, and stretching like from one side of the pool to the other (while I'm still in it). Anyway, I climbed up the ladder and it felt so weird. My suit was hanging down halfway between my knees and my ankles! You should have heard everyone!!!!! I was afraid to go in the whirlpool. I didn't know what would happen to it in there. Oh my. It is definitely time for a new one. I bought that one from Roamans Catalog sometime last fall. I'm seriously considering mailing it to them and asking them if that's what their swimsuits are supposed to do. I'm just glad that no one had a camera!

Dee and I are meeting tomorrow!! I'm heading to Fairborn when I get out of school, and we are meeting at a mall. I have the camera beside my purse, so hopefully I won't forget to take it with me!!

Have any of you tried any of the WW cereals? I like cinnamon, so I bought the cinnamon something or other. I am throwing it out. I really don't like it at all. I've been eating Kashi or Cheerios, and I think I was much better off. Back to them. I just realized that it's 10:00 already! I think I'll head for bed and read for a while.

Sure hope someone else posts sometime!!!

I'm Baaack!
My shoulder is healed but I'm being very careful. I'm not getting on the computer much yet.

Tammy, you really should send back that suit. Then let them tell you that it doesn't fade.....or stretch.
I have not tried the WW cereals. I like Special K Vanilla Almond. Once in awhile, it's on sale and I buy a couple of boxes.

It's cold and raining here. It's perfect weather to walk on the treadmill.

Tina! I'm so glad that your shoulder is better!! PLEASE be careful and don't undo what good has been done.

I told Bob that I'm thinking about sending the suit back, and he agreed. I plan to write a nice letter to enclose with it.

I've never tried that Special K V A cereal. I been like the Kashi, but I wanted to give the WW a try. Learned a lesson. I should get advice from others first. I may have to give the Special K a try. I like the Smart Start too. Bob bought some of that for himself, and he rarely eats it. Sometimes I mix cereals together.

We're in the lower 30's today, so it's almost a heatwave after some of the days that we've had. I'm sure Dee has enjoyed this lovely Ohio weather. Ha!

I'm not going in to school until noon, so I think I might take a short nap before I go jump in the shower.

Have a great day everyone!!

I hope Dee lets us know how things are going when she gets a chance. Maybe someday we can ALL meet. Party at Tina's house???

Hooray that the rain finally stopped! It gets monotonous, doesn't it? We're supposed to get more snow today, but not too much.

I don't even want to go to weigh in tonight. I feel so bloated, so I'm sure it will be a gain of some kind.

I was up so early because the short fuzzy critter that lives at our house decided at 5:30 that he needed to go outside to potty! I did go back to bed for a while later though. This is an "off" day, so I can be lazy. lol

I ended up weighing on our scales, and I am up 2.5. I know it's that TOM any day, but that still doesn't help. I almost cried. I'll go to the meeting tonight but I'm not getting weighed.

I'm back!!!!

Daddy's surgery was good. He is home now. He got home on Friday. I came back on Wed. I spent the night up there Monday night with my mom and then we went home for about 2 hours and took a short nap, then back to the hospital. My brother stayed that night. It was funny, because my Dad would say "Susie, I need a drink of water" "Susie, I need...." Susie, I itch.... I never did get to sit down. My older sister works in the hospital so she would come before she went to work and then at her lunch and at the end of the day. She was laughing! The nurses on that floor were not real attentive so we did a lot. My mom and sister talked to the head nurse before they checked out on Friday. They told them who was good and who wasn't.

I got home Wed. I have been SO tired since I think the entire time I was there I got about 6 hours sleep. I have pretty much done nothing but go to work and sleep. To the point Pat is a little frustrated with me. Oh who cares!!! His band played last night and I stayed home. I really wanted a cheese burger with bacon, so I sat down in the chair and thought I'll go in a few minutes. 2 hours later after a little nap, I thought nah it's too dark. I fell back asleep until 10. I decided it was time for bed and slept until 7 this morning. Feed the dogs and then back to bed until 9. I would hope I am rested now.

While I was gone, we had to put our other horse down. His feet just were not getting any better. I think part is from grieving from Boss, but the vet said it was not going to get better and he would always be in pain. The horseshoer agreed. So we now have no horses. I don't know what we are going to do or if we will get more a little later. I'm sure we will.

So in the past couple of months, we've lost 2 horses and one cat. It seems to be dangerous to be an animal at our house. That's what happens when they are all about the same age!

Enough about me......

Tina, take care of that shoulder!

Tammy, I started laughing about your suit. I would send it back to them. Let them know how embarrassing it was, etc.....

Dee, You are in our prayers!

Jody, those cheese burgers will get you everytime.

Daddy was on a clear liquid diet for 3 days. He kept telling me... I want a hamburger!!! He finally got one on his last day in the hospital.

I missed you all. I was doing so well until I went to SA. I have gained. Had 2 strawberry milkshakes (comfort foods) Then really didn't watch what I ate when I did eat. Oh well, I'm back on track today.

Susan, I'm so glad your dad is home and things went well.
You have every right in the world to rest all you can. You were under so much tension, even before going to SA. Then, being there was very stressful. You'll get rested up, some time.
I am so sorry about your other horse. It's just not fair that our animals have to die.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. After two days of sun, it rained here yesterday morning. But, that ended in the afternoon and today it's back sunny (but colder). I would not do well in cold weather like some of y'all have. I'm afraid I'd eat to survive.

I would like to have one more day off. I'm still tired! I went grocery shopping and it took forever to put things up. I think it took longer putting up than it did buying it.

I even cooked dinner. I did a roast and mashed potatoes for Pat. It was pretty good.

Tammy, we are suppose to be getting cold weather later in the week with possible icing again.

Hope everyone had a good day.

it is so funny the way people deal with stress. Sue's comfort food is ice cream, mine is pinto beans and rice. I have eatten so much mexican food in the last week, I think I am turning into a pinata. (No Sue you can not take a swing )

Dad is much better every day. Thank you all!

Well I need some advice... Everytime I have tried to lose weight I have completely focused on WW and what I eat. Well I thought I was going to go back to meeting after I started working out. Which now I am up to 4 times a week. I have lost 7 pounds and am starting to really feel good. I am aware of what I eat, but just MUCH smaller portions. (For example, today Rob and I went to lunch at a cajun restaurant and I have 1/2 of a bowl of chicken a dumplins and 1/4 of a biscuit. Before I would have finished all of it)

I am not sure if it is that my abs hurt, that I don't want to eat or my stomach getting smaller. Should I jump back into meetings or wait until I plateau? What do ya'll think?

Hi all,
I hope everyone is having bearable weather.

Amy, Do not pass go, Do not collect $100.....go straight to a WW meeting.
You will get so much support from all the people, not to mention the leader. Again, do not wait any longer. And, I would love to be at the Casa Rio right now having a plate of Mexican food.

Okay, I have to tell y'all what I started doing this week. I took the Special K Challenge. You eat SK cereal for one meal, one of their protein bars for another and a healthy supper. You eat fruits and veggies for snacks. I have incorporated that into my flex plan of points. I've lost the 3 pounds that crept back up on me. Hopefully, on Thursday I can move my tracker.

Susan, that is great news about your dad's surgery!! I'm so glad that you were able to be there. It sounds like you needed some sleep, and deservedly so!
I am so sorry that you have lost another horse. I'm sure that he was grieving. You hear of that so often. I'm a vanilla milkshake person myself.

Tina, I think I am eating to survive in this cold weather. I was about 11 this morning when I left for my dentist appointment. That is just way too cold! Good for you on starting the Special K Challenge!! Maybe I should start a Kashi challenge since I just bought a box of that. Hmm. My lunch tomorrow is left over pizza and a clementine. I think I blew the challenge already.

Amy, I think my comfort food is ice cream and Mexican. I like it all!! I do agree with Tina about getting to a meeting.

I have been out of control with my eating since last Friday. I know I've been nervous about the tests that Bob had done on Monday, and I'll probably be that way till we get the results when he meets with the doctor on the 9th. I am dreading going to weigh in on Thursday night, but I'm looking forward to the meeting portion.

Tim was home over the weekend, but he had to leave earlier than we expected on Sunday. The weather started getting nasty, and we all decided that he needed to get back to Muncie before it got any worse. He'll be home again the last weekend in February, but Bob said we may drive over and take him out to eat sometime before then. He is working more hours this semester, and I'm kind of nervous about it. I know that he is studying and staying up with his assignments, but I know how tired he can get especially working in the middle of the night. He sure likes those paychecks though!!

I now have 20 days left, but I won't be there for all of those of course. I think I'm starting to get nervous (and excited!!) about this retirement. Is that weird?

Tina and Susan, how far are you from each other?

Dee, hope things are ok with you and your family!!!!
