Default Monthly challenge: September 2006

i thought morrgan's idea for monthly challenge is a great idea and since august is coming to a close, i thought now might be a good time to start discussing goals for september.

hope ya dont mind morrgan, just tryin to help you out cuz i know youve been busy.

First: Set your goals! Be specific. It is great to see goals like

-I am going walking every day with my children
-I am going to drink 6 glasses of water every day
-I am going to get the the gym 3 times this week
-If I don't go the the gym, I am going to do 50 sit ups and 20 push ups
-I am never going to exceed 5 extra points in one day

Second: copy the roll call list and add your name...



third: Keep us informed of your progress.

here are my goals for september:

1. lose 4-8 by 9-30
2. drink at least 1/2 g water daily
3. exercise every day at least 1 hr combining cardio/weights
4. keep on top of planning ahead and keeping core friendly foods around
5. work on thinking things through in lieu of stress eating on stressful days
6.stick to core 5 days a week and be sure on the other two to eat 3 core/3 non-core meals to banish cravings and prevent binging and to focus on portion control during non core meals.

7. get back to meetings!

week 7: 2.4
week 8: 3.0
week 9:
week 10:

Hey Here are my goals for sept.
1) go to the gym 4 times a week no matter what activites I have done for the day
2) stick to the flex plan
3) cut out caffine and drink more water
4) be in better condition by the end of the month
5) DONT SKIP MEETINGS

good goals lil! its funny bc one of my goals is to go back to meetings i think prob within 1-2 weeks

I find myself going to meetings...then paying and weighing.....and then not going at all so i am trying to avoid that and i think challenging myself to go and ATTEND the meetings all september is a great goal to start with.

My goals for September are
1. lose 8 pounds
2. drink 8 glasses of water a day
3. follow the good food guidlines
4. excersie daily
5. make every effort to stay positive

Count me in......

1. walk 5 miles a day 6 days a week
2. Stick to points everyday
3. lose at least 3 pounds (from 151 to 148)
4. Clean the house at least 2 hours a day
5. Do daily devotions with the girls before school

lil i know i used to do the same but im not ready to give up my sat mornings til i close my pool which will be very soon

My goals for Sept.

*drink my water
*ride my exercise bike 6 days a week for at least 30 minutes. Work up to 45 minutes by the end of Sept
*daily devotions
*8 to 10 pound weight loss
*Stay positive

September Goals

- Lose 5 lbs by Sept 30th

-I am going to use my journal EVERY DAY
-Babysteps this month to get back into WW
-Join a meeting by September 8th

September Goals:

1. Lose 5 pounds by September 30.

You can count me in. I have had a terrible summer and I guess overall I probably gained 5 pounds throughout the summer. I could have done worse. I want to get a hold on this now and get back to losing. Thank god all the summer party's are over and I can start living again....LOL.

My September goals are:
1. Stay on plan.
2. lose anywhere from 5 to 10 pounds (I'd be happy with 5 but even happier with 10)
3. Drink my water everyday.
4. Exercise at least 5 days a week.
5. STAY ON PLAN!!!!!!!

I'm going to do my best to get this off and starting tomorrow morning I'm getting back to it. I'll post my correct weight when I weigh in this week. I'm thinking it's about 153-154. We'll see on Friday.

Default My September Goals

Ok --- I'm new to this message board stuff. Hope I am adding my reply correctly. Saw my sisters post ... so I thought I'd add my two cents as well.

My goals for September are to simply stick to the plan! I am 35 and a non-traditional college student. Also the mother of 5 very active children. Sometimes I just don't want to PLAN what I am eating. It gets me every time. So I want to make sure I stick to the program. Plan ahead. Drink my water. And start exercising regularly.

New here-but not to WW. Am a seriously lapsed Lifetimer...Hoping this challenge will help me to stay motivated, so count me in

Goals:
-Lose 6lbs
-Do aerobic exercise at least 3x per week
-Keep an accurate journal everyday
-Plan dinners a week in advance
-Eat at least 1 serving of fruit and 2 servings of veggies per day
