Bet ya thought I gave up huh???? NOPE - Not at all. Friday was a busy day at work and then had Homecoming with parade, game, halftime show etc. Saturday got up early and headed out for a marching band competition - rained - bleck but not as bad as last week - then headed to dinner with some friends.

Food challenges - yep there were some. But I PLANNED and succeeded this time!!!! I am so proud of myself. We did have caeser's salad, chicken parmesan w/spaghetti last night, garlic bread, and ice cream pie. I indulged in a portion of each and enjoyed every bite. Had no seconds and have absolutely no clue how many points. Anyone want to help me out here?

Caeser's Salad 1 1/2 cups
spaghetti - 1 cup
chicken parmasan - 5 oz chicken breast with mozarella all over it and spaghetti sauce ( I only took the sauce that covered the chicken - no extra)
Ice cream pie - now that one is a killer as it had a chocolate crust, fudge something, ice cream, nuts - yummy but I don't have a clue

I haven't had any of my flex points this week and figure if I keep my points right at 24, I should be okay

What would you do?

Hello I am new, I lost 132 in the past but have gained 32 over the past 3years and I would like lose that plus another 35. I am planning on joining ww this week and like the 3fc board much better than the ww board.

1. Lose 5-8 lbs by Halloween
2. STAY AWAY FROM STARBUCKS!
3. Stay on core and try to save more of my points for the end of the week
4. Get to the gym 2-3 times per week

Hi All,

Just joined Weight Watchers for the first time - they're running a program at my work, the first 'official' meeting is tomorrow.

Would love to post here too - I need as much accountability as I can get!!

Goals for October:

1. Stay OP
2. Figure out what OP means
3. Exercise 4 times/week - 2 cardio, 2 weights
4. Walk 20 mins/day.
5. Journal all meals and snacks
6. NO JUNK FOOD!!
7. Show a loss next week...after Thanskgiving weekend!!
That's it for now...

Hey guys, how is everyone doing?

Welcome BethO and laceykat, great to meet new people.

Hey scalewatcher and novie2. What's up? Congrats on getting the water in. It takes time but you will see a loss eventually.

Good to see you back Christian and Rosegarden. Let's see what we can lose this month.

Hey andreaphilip3, pizza doesn't seem all that bad. I picked the whole day yesterday. Chips, WW bars, Pepsi,.. I did walk though and today is a new day. Guess what....I have to work nights again the next two days. Surprise hey....LOL

Welcome to the rest of the ladies who have joined our monthly thread. Looking forward to getting to know everyone a little more.

Good morning - I had another successful day yesterday.

But you know, my temper gets very thin when I'm really hungry - I did have a blow up at the family for not helping but after I ate my regular food, I wasn't quite so angry. In the past, it just would have been a reason to eat lots of pasta but I got past that with a bottle of water and fixing my regularly planned meal.

I'm not so rigid that I can't change my planned meals but I do have to think hard on substitutes if that doesn't appeal to me

Hi Guys!
Welcome to all the newcomers! Happy October everyone!

Things are going well here. As I've said before Sunday is kind of my day of rest. I save all flex points and activity points for Sundays and go out with the fam. It's also the only day of the week I take off of exercising too. Yesterday we went to a buffet and I had one plate with some healthy choices and some not so healthy choices. No dessert. Not sure of the points, but am pretty sure I didn't use all of my flex and activity points in that one plate. I only had three points for breakfast and 2 points for popcorn last night. Back on my bike this morning for 45 minutes. 4 glasses of water done and I'm cooking some chicken and noodles for dinner.

I wi tomorrow morning. I don't have a scale at home, so have no clue what it will say. I'm a tad nervous since I just maintained last week. I will be so disappointed if the scale doesn't move this week!

Keep up the good work ladies!
