Oh my gosh Lisa, so so sad.

My cousin's son killed himself about four years ago in September. It was such a shock and I can't see my cousin without feeling such pain for her.

I am sorry for his children, who will never really know their dad and sorry for the parents because no one should have to bury their child.

Hi ladies,

It's raining (actually pouring), but at least it's Friday!! A very quite day in the office..good for getting some work done.
I think DH and I are going to pass on going to the shore this weekend, it looks like the weather is going to continue to be wet.
Weighed in this morning, the scale says I'm down 1.2 lbs AND since TOM is scheduled to arrive soon I'm thinking next week (if I stay OP) the scale should reflect a very nice little loss!!

Lisa so sorry to hear about your friends son. I feel so badly for his family. I just can't imagine how depressed someone must be to resort to that, especially when you have children.

Lala your garden is beautiful, the colors are amazing! You definately have a green thumb! Only a few more days until Ernest comes home!

Melissa I feel your pain regarding the temps. Our office is very cold too, but oddly enough the bathroom is the only warm spot in the office. I don't think it's even going to reach 50 today.

Well ladies, since my weekend plans have been rained out i'm not sure what we're going to do. Hope you all have a nice one and I'll talk to you later.

Just a drive-by post. Spent my lunch hour at the gym and am heading out for a run after work. The big race is this weekend and there's something called a friendship run tonight. Pasta dinner tomorrow night - hmmmm.

Your garden is beautiful lala. We're nowhere near that yet - still too cool at night. And wet too, although not as wet as some areas.

Sorry your weekend plans got rained out Pam. Will you re-schedule?

Such sad news Lisa. I always wonder what was so bad in a person's life that they thought death was preferable.

No sunshine here Melissa, and my office is cold too. I often find it warmer outside than in.

It's a long weekend for me, so I'll see you guys on Tuesday.

Susan

Lisa: What a terrible loss! It's so hard for those that are left behind.

Pam: We're supposed to have scattered rain over the weekend too so my plans are kind of on hold. If it's raining I won't head out to the Highland Games because everything is pretty much outdoors. Our bathrooms are even colder than the offices! I work in a brick building so most of the cold sticks around. Next week is supposed to be better. Congrats on the scale! Keep focused and you should see a nice loss next week.

Susan: Like your new picture! You're right it is usually warmer outside than inside the office. Our flowers are coming along--the temps are pretty cool but my bushes (azaleas, rhododendron, and a few others) are blooming. My dogwood tree is ready to bust out as well.

Lala: I love your garden pictures! I'm looking forward to my perennials blooming but that'll be a bit yet since the temps have been dipping into the 40's in the evening. Next week should bring some things out.

I'm so glad it's Friday--so far the phone has been pretty quiet and I'm hoping it stays that way! Talked to my allergist this afternoon about that pesky cough that keeps waking me up at night--we're going to give the Nexium another shot and see if that helps. It's more annoying than anything at this point. Have a great weekend ladies!!

Thanks for your concern. I just don't know what to do for the parents.

Susan, love your pic--your hair looks great! Have fun with your run and enjoy the pasta (one of my favorite foods).

lala, Ernest is coming home soon.

Pam, sorry the weather didn't cooperate. We could still use some rain here. It is supposed to be 90 degrees here tomorrow and we're in a golf tournament.

Melissa, that is really cold for this time of year. DH is headed to Youngstown, OH next Friday to see his mother. I heard it will warm up some; I hope or he'll freeze. He's flying in to Pittsburgh.

Susan - I just noticed. It is lovely!

I think Ernest will be more attractive than me, so he stays.

I just spend 200 bucks at lunch on two crates and that was with a 20% discount.
That boy is going to be expensive.
