OK - I am going to walk more, and get rid of leftover Christmas treats. I was down 2.6# this week, so off to a good start

Nice work, Bandit2! Did you gain over Christmas? I did- .8lb. Could have been worse!
Thanks for coming back to the Challenge, I was getting lonely!

Unhappy

I'm having a rough time getting my act together! Only 2 weeks into the new year and all I've done is gain!!! (okay, it's only about 5lbs overall, but still...)

I know what has been happening...lots of stress eating this past week and slacking off with journaling and exercise. This is my busy season at the office and lately, I've been lucky to wolf down a WW candy bar between customers. By the time I get home, I'm starving and eat way more than I should for dinner. No more!

Next weigh in WILL be better!

Hi everyone:

SaskieMom: Yes I gained 8# over a 3 week period & was completely bummed out. Lots of outings over Christmas then went to Cuba for a week over the break. The food was a little different from ours & I ended up eating way tooooo much bread & way toooo much Pina Colada's. But got back on track last week & have been strictly counting points, drinking my water, & getting in some walks. Went for 1/2 hr walk yesterday, had light supper since I went to the show. Had popcorn at the show but counted it. Have taken my own popcorn to the show before, but we were going with friends of my boyfriend that I don't know that well, so thought I shouldn't do that. Anyway I am focussed again
and feel pretty good. Have a good OP day, everyone.

Suzanne- I hope things get a little calmer for you at work soon! Good luck getting back on track. When is your next weigh in?

Bandit2- Wow, sounds like you had a great time putting those lbs on!
Doesn't it suck that you have change healthy habits when you are with people you don't know well! I totally know what you mean, though! That's really good that you are back on pts and focused!
I was thinking, what if we switched this to a different challenge, since a lot of people seem to have had a rocky start to the month? I think I will start another one- join me if you like!!

Default Is the challenge still on?

Hi!!

I was just reading through the posts and would like to join!!

I gained 5 lbs over Christmas. I went home to Canada (I live in Australia now) for 3 weeks and knew that I would gain. I gave myself free time while I was there to enjoy myself.

I lost 2.4 lbs last week so I am back on track again.

Could use some motivation again though!!

Nola.

Hi Nola..

Welcome to the challenge and congratulations on your loss!

I myself have had a rough start for the new year, but, the support from everyone has been great and finally, this last weigh in made it all worthwhile..

Sounds like you did exactly what I did over the holidays. I allowed myself a few splurges and gained about 5 lbs too. At least now, we are concious of what we are doing. In years past, it would have been much worse and I would not have cared about it. What a difference a trip to the doctor can make.

Take care,
Suzanne
