I don't have a meeting until Jan 7, so I will post in time for the second Saturday I guess. Good luck to everyone who has weigh in before then!

Went to WW Thursday and weighed in at 195 - goal is to lose 10 lbs by 2/2 (first mini goal) So far staying within pionts - went grocery shopping and bought low points foods. Have been doing challenge - but the full week for me really isn't until next Thursday.

I am up for a challanage and so is my daughter
my goals are to stick to my points,drink my water,and excercise
5 days a week.
my daughters goals are stick to points, drink 4 glasses of water daily,excercise 30 min 3 x weekly

Okay, here goes ...

Just joined WW - first meeting was on Saturday and I was quite shocked (well, not shocked - I knew I had gained more weight) to discover my weight was 262.6.

So my goals are:

1. Try and get the hang of these points and stick to it.
2. Drink water, drink water and oh yes, drink water.
3. Stay away from my beloved 1/2 & 1/2 in my coffee.
4. Go out for a walk ... and not fall on my butt on the ice.

Sunday's weigh shows I gained 1.5lbs. Oh well, will just need to be good this week.

So far today, I have only consumed 7 pts. I got busy at the office and never did eat my breakfast bar. Not a good idea, but, I can have it for a mid-afternoon snack (I do the 5-6 mini meals plan).

Dad seems to think our scale is broken..he moved it to 4 different areas and got 4 different readings. (he too is on WW and so far has dropped 50lbs..yeah!) Do scales really give different readings like that?? In the area I used it, showed he gained 2lbs so I might be ahead and not even know it..lol

Anyone else have this happen to them??

Suzanne,
Scales can be crazy! My DH and I were trying to get an idea of how much our daughter weighs, He held her on the scale about 3 different times, and so did I. What we discovered is that she weighs somewhere between 9 and 16 lbs! *L*
That is so awesome that your dad has lost so much-is he almost at goal?
I weigh in in a few hours. Expecting a gain of 1-2 lbs, I did not treat my body well over the holidays! I'll report in later!

Thanks Tara..we were beginning to think we were going bonkers!

Dad has about 80 lbs to reach goal. I'm so proud of him! For anyone out there that has doubts about WW...he is living proof it works.

Don' t be too hard on yourself...I have yet to find anyone of us that didn't gain a couple of pounds over the holidays.

Hi all! I weighed in tonight- gained .8 lb. Coulda been worse! How is everyone else doing?
Suzanne, you are so right, the program DOES work. I lost over 60lbs before my daughter was born! (And I will do it again!)
