Default Another gain...

well after losing 2.2kg/4.8lb last week, this week I put on 1.9kg/4.2lb......

I don't get it, I did EVERYTHING by the book last week & the week before - doing the core programme. I watched my portions, I was strict about journalling & counting ALL my points.... but I put on so much

I hate to say it, but I feel like giving up almost.... not quite, but after doing so well to start with, now I feel like I'm letting myself down, and everyone else... *sigh*

what can I do?

... I'm doing the points plan this week and SO FAR have stuck to my points, and planned meals in advance......

Boy, don't I know how you feel! I weighed in on Monday, and I gained 2 lbs. It really let me down, even though I sort of knew it wouldn't be "WONDERFUL" news. I didn't totally stick to my points....... but I didn't feel like I totally over-did it either. It was weird, but in any event, I gained, and I felt pretty bummed out too. But I told myself if this is going to be a LIFE-LONG change for me, I have to know that there will be "bumps" in the road, and all you can do is just get right back on track the following day. So today I've done very good, and I'm hoping for good numbers next week! As for suggestions on what more to do...........Do you drink a lot of water? I know if I drink a lot of water it helps me to lose weight. So that's something to think about. GOOD LUCK, and don't give up!!!!!! You can do it!!!

thank you for your reply - as always it helps to know that I'm not alone!!!

I have been very proud of myself today - and I hope I can continue on like this for the rest of the week. Last week I did drink more water than usual, but this week I'm going to make sure I have my 2L a day.... and so far so good.......
