On WW but borrowing from other diets?
Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. I'm back from a WW breakdown; a 5lb weight gain, but not all lost is back, so I'm back....with a vengence! We had a heat wave, I got sick, I'm stressed as **** looking for a new job, depression hit hard again....Yes all true and all effected my dedication to losing weight, but I won't be using these an excuses anymore!
ANYWAY....the reason for my post. I was curious if anyone has taken a few tips or guidelines from OTHER diets and implemented them into your WW plan?
For instance, I think a reason my weight-loss slowed for a bit is because although in the beginning I held back eating simple-grains (white breads, rice, pasta, croutons) I slipped back into the bread and cracker habit. I'm wondering this time around if I should just give it all up, to see what happens, sorta like taking a page from South Beach (but not as severe as Atkins). Also, since fresh is best and usually low in points, I was thinking of adding a little rawness into my life, well, a lot more rawness and trying to have a meal or two, several times a week, of nothing cooked. I figure these little changes can not only aid in my weight loss but help me get the right nutrition.
Has anyone done this? What was your experience? I wonder, if any fellow WW's severly limit or has given up any foods or drinks or ingridients?
Thanks for any input!
