I'm here. I've been laying on the sofa most of the day. I have cramps. UGH> Just keep getting worse as I get older. Would love to look into that endometrial oblation (I know I spelled it way wrong). However, I am a chicken when it comes to medical stuff. I am affraid that ten or fifteen years from now they will determine that it causes some life threatening something or other.
Eating has been good today. I had a really good workout at the gym too. I was trying to work through my aches and pains of TOM. breakfast oatmeal 2pts snack non fat plain yogurt, frozen blueberries, and a bit of go lean crunch cereal. I don't count any points for snacks on gym days. I consider them the activity points. I always do 2 maybe 3 points. lunch ham and mustard on light bread 2pts lots of low fat triscuits 6pts Not sure what I'm doing for dinner yet. I am going scrapbooking at 6:30 tonight. Family is eating left over mexican from the other night. I may as well. I hope to check in over the weekend. But if I don't, don't worry. Sometimes I am just too busy on the weekends. Just dropping in for a minute to see if anyone's around. I probably won't be here much this weekend either. Putting new flooring down in DS's room and the spare room and just got my new mattress delivered. Will be extremely busy the next couple of days. Just a quick Hi. The flooring is put down but there is still alot of work to be done. I won't have a whole lot of time this next week but I will try my best to come online and post. I have to work 5 - 12 hour shifts this week plus help with homework, housework, exercise and whatever else hits me. I am exhausted already and I have a long week ahead of me. I will think happy thoughts and stay OP this week.

Hi there. Kim, sounds like you have quite a week ahead of you. Hope your son's room in coming along well. I know that is a lot of work. We did my son's floor with laminate flooring as well as the playroom in our house. He has asthma and we were getting the carpetting out of the rooms he spends a great deal of time in. It worked well.
I have had a decent weekend. I did not track points, but know that yesterday I was within. Today I may have gone a smidge over, but I rode my bike quite a bit this morning and I cleaned too. I think I am fine. My scale reads 170.6. I feel pretty confident that I will be under 170 at weigh in on Tuesday. Will check in later tomorrow afternoon. I have a field trip with my son to the zoo tomorrow. Should be back around 1 or 2. Then, I pick up my daughter. Have a good Monday. ---Amy PS I had some problems with this site a few days ago. I didn't track over the weekend either, which is a pretty bad since I just went back to meetings on Friday! I don't think it would of been THAT bad, but I have been having cravings for cake for awhile, and it was getting to where I knew if I didn't give in a little, I was going to end up binging. Soooo I had a piece on Saturday, and a piece yesterday. Other than that, everything else I ate was ok. I feel pretty confident that I'll be able to stay on track the rest of the week. I have class this morning, then I have to go to the bakery lab to work on my practical (final) cake (it's a styro dummy cake) for another class. The weather here is awful...rain rain rain...I'm really dreading getting dds out in this! I'll post today's food tonight...hope you guys have a great day! |
Hi ladies,I am back.Sorry to be gone so long.I already typed a huge msg and then lost it so this one will be shorter.After much suffering i found out I have a herniated disc.I am fixable so that is good news.Gained about 5pounds:( but am pain free these days from the drugs and the chiro and steroids.I fell better than I should because I am tempted to go to the gym or clean up a storm.I am having a cortisone shot on the 24th and then will be stuck with physio for a bit,my jusne goal is unatainable but will be glad to get back to 160 agaon.NOt standing on the scale for at least a week.
News of a different kind,we are going to a lawyer on Tues to see about my husband adopting my daughter.Scared about that I have an ex from **** and even though he has been out of her life 7years I am sure he won't let mu husband adopt her.If we can do it easily without a battle we will but if it will cost a forturn we are going to hold off.She is 13 andI am sure there must be an age where she can speak for herself and say she wants the adoption to go through.I guess we will know tomorrow.We are also doing our wills,which we should have done long ago.Losing a good friend feb 23 put the fear of god in me.How quick everything can be gone and you not be ready for it.My goal is to protect my daughter it always has been.This has been causing me nasty stress at a time when I need to be healing but losing my friend so young realy scare the heck out of me.lol why oh why can't I have any lawyer friends. enough drpressing stuff.I am sticking to program today minus exercise. Not sure what yet but I will be good, I have missed you all but really couldn't stay awake to write anything in awhile. |
fitbyforty-I feel for you! I have been going to the chiropractor's 3x's a week since the beginning of Feb; I finally had an MRI and learned that I have a lateral herniation in my L5 disc and bulging in two of my other discs. The "lateral" part is very scary...right now it is pressing on the sac that holds my spine; if it breaks through, I will have to have surgery. My chiro couldn't believe that I've never been in a car accident or had some type of injury...this came from normal every day activities. No one except for someone else who is going through it can understand how painful it is!!! I feel your pain!!!!!

Hi Amy and Paige, I guess we all had the same kind of weekend by not tracking our points. I have to get back to it tomorrow. I am hoping to get on the treadmill at 5Am tomorrow to get my day started and hopefully stay OP. I hope your final turns out ok Paige. Good thing it's syrofoam....LOL

My day did not go as planned. I ate some unhealthy stuff but feel that perhaps I just dug into my flex points today. I did do pretty good all week after all. We will see. I weigh in tomorrow. So here's yesterday...
Breakfast-Low carb ww wrap-1 pizza sauce-1 moz cheese-2 Snack-granola-4 Lunch-leftover roast beef-6 leftover potatoes-4 low fat ice cream-2 Dinner-ww spaghetti w/homemade spaghetti sauce-10 low fat ice cream-3 Total-33/30...over 3 I'm noticing that I am not giving myself many choices for breakfast and lunch, so I tend to eat dinner leftovers, which can be higher in pts. I think I might go grocery shopping tonight, so I'll have to do some thinking today on some creative breakfasts and lunches. Hope you all have a great day! I am excited because the sun is shining! I never did make it to class yesterday...I had to turn around and come back home because the roads were flooded. Fun, fun! |
Thanks Amy,thia whole lawyer thig scares the heck out of me.The divorce and custoday battle 6years ago I stil haven't recovered from.Sou can imagine how i feel getting ready to go through this again.

Good evening. Hope everyone had a good day. Mine was odd but ended up good in the end anyway. I went to my weigh in tonight. I was down 1.6. So...................I am now officially under 170!!!! This is huge for me~ I can only hope it starts a downward weight spiral.
breakfast oatmeal 2pts snack goldfish 2pts a zucchini brownie my neighbor made ???? lunch toast 1pt two hard cooked eggs 4pts (yuck)! dinner 1/2 order ginger broccoli chicken with brown rice and soy beans ???? I am so excited!!! Hope you all have a good night. Will check in tomorrow. ------Amy |

Still not stepping on the scales yet amd won't for while.Manage to take quite a tumble yester.day.Was snoozing on th esofa had to go to the bathroom.Caught my foot on the rug bounced off 3 walls trying to steadt myself before I hit the floorl.Ihave never fallen that hard.My husband broke a speed record getting to me.I was sure I broke something.I just don't want to undo all the recovery I have had so far.Paige are you on streiods?I am on that vicodin and flexerll too.but not more than I should be so why i was staggering around like a drunk I don't know.I think the steroids are really working.I get my shot next week then rehab I suppose just going to trey not to eat the whole house.Which is a big goal
