Good job Amy!I was thinking of making valentine cookies for my family but i think that would be a huge disaster.Just like the brownies lol have a great weekend.

Ya know, one thing I've found that I have been lacking in my diet is the oil. I used to get oil in every day, with either my slim fast shake, or my popcorn. I'm going to make a conscious effort to get that in this week. Today so far: B: slim fast shake w/banana & oil 6pts S: bran muffin 2pts L: ham sandwich w/baked doritos and bean dip (yummy!) 5pts D: (later) cola chicken 4pts, small potato 1pt, green beans 0pts S: probably a ww ice cream 2pts That'll be 20/25...so I know I have some playing room if I alter something at dinner, or eat alittle snack between. |

A few people at my weekly meeting use olive oil on their sandwiches instead of butter or margarine. |
I don't like butter on my sandwiches, my grandma always does that and I never quite understood why, lol.
I normally use mustard on my sandwich, zero pts! :) Yesterday didn't go exactly how I planned, however, I didn't go over pts. I wound up getting one of my famous migraines around 4, and ended up on the couch until today at 10am. Hubby grabbed a pizza for dinner and i had 2 slices....so that put my total to 23/25. Feeling alittle better today. |
I can understand your pain AJsMommy,I was diagnosed with chronic migraines 15 years ago.Funny thing though got rid of the huband found a great guy,left my job and moved to the states with him.In four years I have had maybe 2 migraines.I used to take a beta blocker back then and it did help I didn't get as many.I don't take those anymore.Do you take anything for yours?

No, I don't take anything for them...They are just now getting more frequent and intense. I'm going to make an appt to see my Dr. and see if he'll prescribe imitrex injections for nights like last night. I'm not good at taking meds, but I don't like the pain I felt last night either.

Breakfast - 1 egg, toast and hashbrown = 6 pts.
Lunch - 2 f.f. hot dogs w/ bread, 100 cal. Doritoes = 5 pts. Snack - teddy grahams - 100 cal. pack = 2 pts. Dinner - chicken parmesan = 5 pts. That's a total of 18 out of 26 that I need. I'll have me some sort of snack later while watching Deal or No Deal. :D |
Today was... well... kind of ruled by TOM-related cravings. Pretty random food today, went over points for sure:
B: 2 slices spelt toast w/blueberry preserves, 2 slices turkey bacon (5) S: 3 dried apricots, 12 almonds (3) D: turkey sandwich on wheat (3), carrots w/hummus (2) S: this is where it gets weird a piece of bread w/cheese melted on top (3) a square of dark chocolate (1) 2 sf popcicles (1) hot chocolate (3) D: quesadilla w/onions, pepper, chicken, cheese (8) 29/24... ah, oops! If nothing else I'm a really good planner :) Tomorrow I spend pretty much all afternoon and evening on campus..... which means dinner is always really lame and unsatisfying because I have to carry it around with me all day (campus food is expensive and really bad!). so I try to make a hot meal for lunch to compensate... here goes nothing: b: steel-cut oats w/a few raisins and a dash of soy milk (3) s: 3 dried apricots w/12 almonds (3) l: whole wheat pasta w/leftover pasta sauce (4) s: 2 rye crackers w/pb (3) d: salad w/2oz. chicken (2), lf dressing (1); carrots w/2 tbsp homemade hummus (2); something bad from the vending machine to get me through night class (probably m&ms... 5pts) Total: 23/24. At least when I'm away all day I'm not tempted to graze in the kitchen! |
Today was weird for me as well, I had consumed 17.5pts by 1:00pm. I normally have quite a few pts left for dinner and night snacking...not so today. I indulged in a craving for lunch. Tomorrow is WI but we'll see if I go, the weather here in MI is pretty nasty and I'm thinking school will be closed tomorrow and I won't drive the 30 minutes to my meeting that early w/the roads probably not being plowed. ( I live somewhat in the country )
B: latte 2pts L: subway tuna sub 12.5pts, baked chips 3pts S: 2 pieces dove choc 2pts D: 1/2 smart ones chicken fettucine (yuck) and 1c. peas 5.5 S: popcorn 3pts, 2 oatmeal bars 6pts (oops!) So I'm over by approx. 8. I was down to 196.4 on my scale Sunday am, but by Mon morn and today it's showing 197.5. I'm beginning to seriously think, I'm stuck in the high 190's...this is ridiculous. I need to switch something around, just to jump start the losing process again. *Decisions, decisions* |
I weighed myself yesterday and discovered that I gained 5pounds since last Thurs.I am devastated because I have been eating properly and exercising.I was certain I would go back to being free at weigh in tomorrow.I need to pull a rabbit out of a hat on this one.There is no logical reason..not tom either.

Howdy girls!
Well, today was a snow day for the kiddos, just like I thought, so I didn't make the trip to my usual meeting, but...be proud of me! My mom and I had some errands to do, so I found a WW location near where we were going and they had open weigh today, so I went :) ..and I lost 1 1/2lbs! My scale this morning (naked) showed 195.3 *beaming*, clothed it showed 196.6 and at WW it showed 196.5...I'm so glad my scales are in sync w/theirs. My mom and I went to Ruby Tuesdays for lunch, and while I didn't do fantastic on program, I was proud of myself none the less as I didn't consume what I could have, pre-ww. I'm not sure the pts, I'll look at dotties site later and tally. I had 3/4 turkey sandwich, probably 15 tortilla chips w/minimal cheese dip, a salad w/low fat ranch and my mom, my son and I shared a dessert. I am honest to goodness still stuffed and it's almost 7pm so I probably won't eat anything else tonight, maybe some popcorn and water. Happy Valentines ladies!! @>->------ (my make believe rose) *Update on Ruby Tuesdays pts. Chips & queso 8 ( I did not even eat 1/2) say....3pts? Turkey sandwich 15.5 (wow!) Dessert shared 16 total, so 8? I'm only over by 2 or so, so not terrible. I'm satisfied w/that, and it was a nice treat to do lunch w/mom...and pay with gift certificates :) |
Great job on the loss AJsMommy.I didn't go to my weigh in today for a couple reasons.We haven't shovelled out the yard and the fact that I was up most of the night sick.One bonus though,down a pound.Well down one from my last weeks weight but on tues.I weighed myself and had put on 5,which was devastating and took all I had to not give up.I stayed in points yesterday but not really up to typing it in lol.
