I figure it is better to kick the can than to write a whole diatribe of whining and complaining!

As to running...I can't find the duct tape, but when I do, you'll be the first to know!

Peachie, what a charming invitation to play. I actually looked to see if there was a way to reverse the can kicking, so that you'd have a partner, but that option was not available.

Hmmmm, how am I? You know that feeling when the 10# ball in the pit of your stomach is attached to the lump in your throat? Well, kinda like that. My dad got some unexpected results from a routine x-ray and we're all holding our breaths...
Blowing bubbles sounds really good about now, my young friend and I'll take you up on the offer. Better than some of the things I've been doing lately, like walking into the hall closet instead of the bathroom, when I was about to wash my hands today. Couldn't figure out why the heck all our coats got moved in there. At least I didn't try to pee into my walking sneakers, which are also in the coat closet. I NEED those walks! They are the only thing that hold my attention these days...
So, I'll borrow a page from your book and quit whining and kick that can back to you, my dear. You're a sweetie, a darling playmate and you know that if you want to pm about why you're sublimating (I know how you love that psychobabble), you're always welcome to do that.

sending prayers and good vibes and rattling beads for good results. Don't forget to breathe and eat healthy during times of stress. Your body and soul need it.

sometimes we really need to be grateful for the small miracles!

Oh Peachie, could you possibly be any sweeter? Thank you for your sensitivity and support. Here I was, thinking I was just being empathic re. Cheryl's need for normalcy and from your response, it sure sounds like I was just projecting...leave it to you to pick up on that.

Hey, I LIKE parallel play! But then again, no matter how much you're not 'posed to have "favorites", there are those kids out there whose originality never ceases to make me smile...

So how did the big kid do at State, Peachie-Keen?

(btw - did any of you all play kick the can when you were little??? We used to have a HUGE game on friday/saturday nights in the summer. I remember hiding in the neighbor's bushes and wetting my pants cuz I was giggling so much! But I was only about 6 years old so what do you expect)
