Hmmm, there are so many, but one biggie for me is that I can cross my legs comfortably. Such a small thing, but, you know!

Frustrating in a happy way was that I was looking in my closet for something to wear the other day and the first two things I pulled out were to big. Somehow that transformed into an OBSESSION in like 3.4 seconds and I was whipping things out of my closet left and right and trying them on. Everything I tried on was too big, too big to the point of not even being able to make it work for a couple weeks. My closet is now empty with about 8-10 things hanging in it....I need to do some shopping!

Wow...there are so many things! I'm totally compiling this into a list to tack up somewhere for motivation.

A very simple thing for me that is great now is being able to paint my own toenails and tie my own shoes.

I agree--the best thing is the physical freedom. The confidence that I can run over to make that bus, I can sit in the last seat available and there will be room, etc. I fit places.

In the past when I have lost weight I loved being able to fit into non-plus size clothes....And seeing that somewhere under there I had hip bones hiding all the time!
As I'm just starting this journey now and I've only been going strong for just over 2 weeks I'm enjoying the small things I can feel changing... I can breath better, I'm sleeping better, I feel less bloated all the time...for once I don't feel like a balloon even though I still sorta look like one! I'm looking forward to seeing those numbers come down and inches come off and finding those hips again...but in the meantime its worth it just to have all this extra energy!

When I was losing weight, I loved to try on old clothes that I had gotten too big for to see how close I was to fitting into them. Now all of those clothes are too big!

Here are the things I love:
  • I love that I can put almost anything on and be happy with how I look in it. I love that I can wear fitted clothing.
  • I love being able to say "do you have this in an extra small?"
  • I love the way my waist feels.
  • I love all the comments about how much weight I've lost and how good I look (and am so sad that the longer I maintain, the fewer of these comments I'll hear ). But I'm really looking forward to Christmas when my family will see me for the first time since I've lost all this weight.
  • I love how much more awake I feel when I've gotten up early and gotten my exercise out of the way. I also love the smug feeling that goes with being done with my exercise for the day.
  • I love being able to say that I have a active lifestyle. I feel like I'm part of an exclusive club.

Here's for me *G*:

- I love that i no longer have trouble breathing while eating
- I love that I have more energy
- I love that I can feel my collarbones, and am starting to see my cheekbones
- I love that I can put on my size 14 jeans without sucking in, and that my size 16 jeans are falling off of me
- I love when I tell people "I've lost 30 lbs!" their eyes bug out and they look all impressed
- I love the fact that I enjoy greatly doing a good, sweat enducing cardio workout and then take a hot shower. I used to think that was insane, now I think its a wonderful feeling!
