I stuck solidly to my food plan all weekend, so as of this morning, I'm down 8 pounds for my first full week (although I had been waaaaay off plan before I started this, so I know much of it is just water weight, and it certainly won't keep dropping at this pace).

On to today:
  • sliced ham
  • lightly salted mixed nuts--already had these, and had waaaaaay too many of them, so I'm drinking at least 1 extra liter of water today to help battle the salt...can't do anything but sigh and move on from the fat and calories...
  • egg salad (2 eggs, fat-free mayo, dab of light Miracle Whip, blob of mustard)
  • salad--romaine lettuce, baby spinach, cabbage, onion, ground turkey (cooked in salsa, chili powder, garlic, and onion), reduced-fat shredded cheddar, and salsa and fat-free sour cream instead of dressing

I no sooner typed my plan than the phone rang and I went to work for a few hours. I got a little off track because I didn't have time to pack my lunch, but it's not bad. I think I can fix it with supper and having my shake for an evening snack.

Jilly! 8 lbs is awesome!
