Hello everyone, new in this thread and 156 this morning.
After unexpectedly losing my job last year I gained nearly 20 pounds. At first I actually lost weight because for days I just couldn't bring myself to eat as I had a nervous breakdown.
Luckily, it didn't take me long to find a job and started work immediately but with a 3 hr commute. I have now moved closer to work and can walk 30 minutes to work. But during that time I was commuting I stopped working out and was eating out frequently, same during the move etc. This was also partly because I wasn't sleeping well until about two months ago as I was still processing the very negative circumstances of my job loss.
Anyway, now hoping to lose quickly

My confidence has taken a hit recently as I was seeing this guy who now all of a sudden likes someone else and has said that he will get in a relationship with them soon, he asks me frequently about my workout and even once said he'd go to the gym with me, so I suspect my weight has put him off.
He still keeps in touch but I will keep him at a distance, he seems to still like me but wants to see if I lose the weight? Anyway, I want to lose the weight but certainly it won't be for him! Especially as he was dishonest in how things unraveled with this other girl while seeing me.
Here's to getting out of the 150s
