167 lbs. this morning. Walked over 7 miles yesterday with hiking club. It is a darn miracle since when I started this journey I couldn't walk across the room without being winded. I wore a bathing suit on the beach for the first time in years. And today I get to go to a cookout and make good healthy choices for myself while avoiding sugar.

I am very grateful for daily recovery from food addiction.

Happy 4th of July to all you Americans on the board!

Keep going!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot:

robinm 07-16-2016 09:02 PM

166 lbs. this morning. I am one pound from the weight I was when I got pregnant with my first child. Having a great summer!

Keep going!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot:

Gkm130 07-22-2016 11:49 AM

Back on 3FC. Have been off for about 2 years...that's when I gained it all back plus some after an injury. Still trying to get motivated. Need a jumpstart plan!!!

Chunkahlunkah 07-24-2016 04:20 PM

Robin - Congrats! You're doing awesome! I'm really happy for you. :)

Welcome back, gkm!

Lovecoffee 07-24-2016 06:45 PM

Hi! I just joined today after lurking for a bit. Today is Day 1 on the plan for me. I weigh 162.8, a lifetime high for me (not counting pregnancies). Hoping to get out of the 160s quickly!

Lovecoffee 07-26-2016 08:12 AM

160.4 today! I wasn't going to weigh until Friday, but I could see a difference in my stomach and couldn't resist :) Day 1 & 2 have gone really well. I excercised both days. I can do this!!!

robinm 07-27-2016 11:40 AM

163 lbs. this morning. Its weird how I plateau for so many days but then take a big drop.

Keep going!!! We can do this!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot:

Just found this website

Hi, I just found this website today, am so happy. Although I check posts on Connect, but this feels more like a support group that people are sharing a lot of different topics regarding their weight loss journey.

So, I'm soooooooooo wanting to get out of the 160s. Last Saturday's weight in, I weighed 160.6. I have been in 160s for months. I'm very nervous about tomorrow's weight in because I am very close to my period and I always gain weight this time of the month :(

McMurphy 07-31-2016 07:30 PM

168.8 yesterday morning :carrot:

I slipped up and ate a McChicken and half a small fry from McDonald's last night though, so that's not good. It's much easier to stay on plan during the work week.

Lovecoffee 08-01-2016 08:28 AM

Today's weight is 159.6! I lost 3 lbs my first week on the plan-it feels great :) 3 lbs down, 19.6 to go.

Crow 08-26-2016 05:59 AM

Hi there, anybody still posting in this thread? I hit 169.8 this morning, and I'm looking forward to slipping down through the 160s.

Nightowlrn 08-28-2016 05:32 PM

Hello Crow - I am new here. I woke up to 169.6 this morning, I may be graduating from the 170s forum. If I wake up to under 170 tomorrow, I will be right here with you. It looks like we are similar in size and weight goals. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Crow 08-29-2016 06:24 AM

Great to have you here, Nightowl -- I thought I'd have to go through the 160s on my own too!

I think your weight goal is more realistic than mine; I made it to 136 nine years ago, and didn't manage to lose any more. If I can do that again I'll be very happy.

I hope you wake up to a good number today. Mine was 169.2, so I'm happy to have left the 170s behind.

Nightowlrn 08-29-2016 10:51 AM

Hurrah for us both! 169.4 this morning. I think I can call that official. I am hopeful I will see 163 before September ends - that is a mini goal to get to a BMI below 30. I rode 17 miles yesterday. It is a beautiful day today and I may do it again.

robinm 08-31-2016 12:56 PM

162.5 lbs. this morning. These plateaus are lasting a long time but I have come a long way. My style of eating has become a way of life. I have freedom today. I have had the best summer of my life. I am grateful. I do need to exercise more and will do that soon.

Keep going!!! We can do this!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot:

Nightowlrn 09-05-2016 09:53 AM

Wow. Robinm - you are so close to your goal and look how far your journey way! If you haven't left the 160's yet, I am sure it will be any day now. Wonderful.

This morning I saw 167.8. :carrot: Happy about that as I saw a few days of 169 with no scale budging despite my best efforts to nudge things south with diet and upping the exercise.

Crow 09-10-2016 05:47 AM

Nightowl, you're flying through the 160s -- fantastic progress!!

Robin, the end is in sight for you. You're a real inspiration to me; after a week of being stuck, I'm starting to believe again that I *can* slog through the 160s and move downward.

169 even for me today. Finally I'm making progress again.

Nightowlrn 09-10-2016 01:24 PM

Crow. Holy Cow !!! I hope to see you in the 150s section next month. I think it will take me a bit to get there. My body is fighting me the last two weeks, but I knew I wouldn't maintain 2 lbs/week forever. i had to eat out a few times for work this week, which didn't help my progress. But, I am happy to report 168 this morning, so at least I haven't lost ground.

Crow 09-10-2016 02:34 PM

Sorry, Nightowl, that was a completely Freudian typo -- I saw 169 today, not 160!! :o:?: I really wish it had been true.

You and I seem to be moving at a pretty matching pace. I hope we both see the 150s next month.

Nightowlrn 09-10-2016 05:00 PM

Crow...haha. and here I thought you were such an overachiever. I hope your weekend goes well and "here's to a good weigh-in monday!"

Nightowlrn 09-13-2016 10:01 AM

I woke up to 164.8 this morning. I have been sick and finally broke down and got on some steroids, antibiotics, and inhalers. I expect the water retention of steroids will kick in soon, but that will just be temporary. Today, I enjoy my new number! I hope others are having success and enjoying these last few weeks of summer.

merowi2 09-13-2016 07:56 PM

I hope you feel better soon Nightowl
168 today hopefully hitting 165 by end sept

JennyCantwell 09-15-2016 09:14 PM

back at the very beginning

Hiya all, I got down to 140 but a few operations on my collar bone and ankle plus some terrible eating has me all the way back at 165! The positive is I'm all recovered now so can get back to exercise again, and I don't fit any of my clothes but have a lovely wardrobe if I lose weight so there's motivation. Will be trying to post every day and hopefully get the first 10 pounds of fairly fast. Looking forward to get to know you all!
Jenny

Nightowlrn 09-17-2016 10:13 AM

I woke up this morning to 163.4 !!! Nightowl has left Obese City. It isn't dehydration - I drank 120oz yesterday. I do still feel horrible, but am eating and drinking and bike riding, so I think this is a true loss. Last week I was only down 0.5, and I am averaging 1.5 pounds a week, so this makes up for the lack of loss last week. Fingers crossed it holds!

I hope all the 160s have a great weekend!

JennyCantwell 09-17-2016 09:45 PM

Well done nighowl!! That's awesome sounds like the hard work is paying off!

Not a great start for me, but aim to do better today. am taking my puppy to the beach so that should be fun!

merowi2 09-18-2016 08:12 AM

168.2 today bad eating week so I am happy with this number, still in 160's

Nightowlrn 09-21-2016 09:32 AM

Merowi-Happy you were able to maintain during your challenging week. So far the 160s have been good to me. The last few weeks haven't required me to eat out much and the weather has cooperated for outside exercise. Despite a wicked month lungwise, I woke up to 160.6. I am starting to see bones I haven't seen in a while.

ETA - Jenny - a puppy! How fun. What breed?

robinm 09-23-2016 01:34 PM

So glad to see so many of you in this thread with me! As of this morning I am 160.5 lbs. I am almost in the 150's with 150 lbs. being my goal weight as per my doctor. My life has changed so much since I started posting here and joining Overeater's Anonymous. I've lost almost 120 lbs. now. I lead a normal, active, healthy, rich life. I am no longer depressed and isolating myself due to depression and food addiction. I am so grateful.

Keep going!!! :carrot::carrot::carrot:

Robin

30togo 09-25-2016 08:28 AM

Hi everyone...this is the first time posting in a long time...I gained about 25 lbs. after a big weight loss and found myself back in the 170's...I needed to learn to maintain. I'm currently 167.5. It's coming off slowly but surely, just need to work a little harder and am hoping by posting on here it will give me the motivation that I need. thank you!

Rose

Nightowlrn 09-30-2016 10:50 AM

Welcome to new 160ers! I am feeling like an old timer around here. I am working hard to say goodbye to this thread and get to know some 150ers, but I think I will be here at least another 2 weeks as my progress seems to have predictably slowed.

merowi2 10-01-2016 03:47 PM

168 YESTERDAY, hoping to hit 165 by end Oct or lower

Nightowlrn 10-02-2016 11:25 AM

I am off to the 150s crew. I hope to see you all there soon. 159.8 this morning and feelin' great.

Ollieandedith 10-02-2016 03:57 PM

Hello All,
I am right at 161, so hoping to move on soon. It is fun to read through the successes of so many and to relate to all!

robinm 11-10-2016 12:08 PM

I am 158 lbs. this morning. Finally out of the 160's! i will be joining the 150's thread. I am close to goal. I have a better life today. I feel great! See you all in the 150's thread! I have lost 122 lbs. so far and am size 10 now.

Keep going!!1 :carrot::carrot::carrot:

Robin :)

sonickel77 11-12-2016 07:07 PM

I'm brand new to the 160s, 169.6 lb this morning, after being stuck in 170s limbo for a couple of months.
Here's to all of us blasting off these extra lbs to look fabulous.

abbeyrd84 11-16-2016 09:58 PM

This is my first post on these forums. I started alternate day fasting last week. So far I feel like it's a good fit for me psychologically and I haven't been as naughty as I thought I would be on feasting days. No matter how I've tried in the past, I can't seem to get below 160. I'm hoping it will be different this time! With Thanksgiving coming up I'm a little worried about falling off the wagon :?:

tinneranne2 01-28-2017 10:31 PM

I see this thread has been abandoned for a long while, but I just got back on 3FC. I'm hoping it'll pick back up, but if not I'll at least have a record of what's up with me as I try to escape the 160s over the next few weeks. ^u^

I've been tracking calories since January 14 and as of today I weigh 166. I'm not hyper focused on weight loss this time around, going at it very slowly and casually to make it an effort I can sustain long term.

Miracle2617 01-29-2017 07:49 PM

Hi, I am new to the forum.I am currently between 164 and 166.I started at 245 so I am thrilled to get here.My weight loss has slowed a bit as I get closer to goal and I thought it would be good to have some support.I am trying to get to about 145. It looks like there may only be one other 160s poster but maybe we can encourage each other. My goal this week is to try to get some exercise in at least three times and try to stay in my calorie range.

tinneranne2 01-29-2017 11:22 PM

Miracle2617 - Hi! We can keep each other company if nobody else comes to hang out. :) It can be a bit demoralizing when you see the weight loss slow, but that's only cause you're winning! And we have to be mindful pretty much forever if we don't want to regain (which I have. Oops. Lol) so slow and steady will totally win the race.

Miracle2617 01-31-2017 11:22 PM

Hi, Hope you are doing well tinneranne. I was 164.6 today. The 160s are going slow.I just have to keep trying.Stressful week.Food was within calorie range today. No exercise though.
