Still hanging in the 160's. The past week, I haven't been watching portions very well and the scale reflected that. So, that has to stop if I want to get to the 150's! Down from 164.6 to 163 today.

Down a pound this morning! Now at 166.6. Mid sixties seems so much better than high sixties. Haha. One more pound till I've lost 30 pounds, and half way to goal.

chel, I had a huge up swing within the 170's so I won't be joining you anytime soon. However, it has come down some :) Keep up the good work :high:

chel - you and me both (tired of the 160's)! Yesterday I was determined to stick to Phase 1 of SBD for a few days to kick start me down to the 150's. I did very well eliminating bread/grains and fruit. This morning I weighed 162.2! :carrot: |
160s is starting to kick my ***. I had a cheat day that brought me back up to 168.2 and I've been hanging there relentlessly. I even saw 169 on the scale today! So I'm taking some deep breaths and going to refocus myself to a better place. Going to take a small break this week from logging my calories and also concentrate more on fitness since that is my bigger goal. I'm also going to change my diet up, I've been eating the same stuff way too much.

New to this group, though I've been on 3FC for a while . . . I'm seriously excited to be at the lowest *actual* weight in years. I don't think this is an arbitrary bottom spike; I think I really weigh 161 lbs. Crazy feeling. My whole body feels different, even though I've just been doing this for about 10 days.
I'm still drinking a little red wine at night, but no sweets, no flour/grains/etc. I love eating salty foods, so this might be a good option for me for a while. I plan to eat a very small amount of home-made pound cake and whipped cream on my son's birthday. I have no idea if I'm even in ketosis, so I won't know if it pulls me out, but I'm pretty confident that I'll just pick up where I left off. So far I have had very few cravings and am not hungry, which is amazing. Good luck to all! |

Katie - I see you have posted in the 150's thread. Congrats on the drop to the new thread! Sounds like you have a plan that works for you! I changed up my eating, too. I reverted back to Phase I of SBD and it is working for me. This morning, I hit my new low of 161.2! |

I realized I was pushing too hard for numbers. This happened last time I lost weight. I started caring far too much about losing certain amounts each week. So I'm back to eating within a larger window of calories. Back to 168.2 today. I thought I might be higher. Now just back at losing at a steady but not too swift pace. |
Hello, everyone - and congratulations on all the progress! I have been at 167.8 for the past few days. I was really hoping to get to 166 this week, but I'm not sure if that's in the cards. I'm pretty sure the culprits for me this week were sodium and carbs. Anyway, I just need to keep my motivation high, and keep trying as I have been and not get discouraged - be more stubborn than my fat!

Guac - sodium is my enemy, too. DH and I like to eat out a lot and there is always too much sodium in restaurant food. I have cut back on the carbs this week and it is helping. I eliminated any bread, cereal or rice and also my fruits.
So, this morning it paid off! 160.8!! Hope everyone is doing well. Waving hi to you all. :wave: |

Weighed in at 162.4 today, down from 164.6 last Friday.
Is it me or do weigh ins come less exciting when it's so predictable? I'm using science and data to lose weight so it's less of a mystery and more just a law of thermodynamics and it kinda takes the fun out of it? I need to set some fitness goals instead of weightloss. Something I can work hard towards so I can get that fulfillment again! |

@chel325, yeah I get less excited when I'm doing the science/math just right to plan. But I think being less emotional overall with weight/food is a good thing for me, heh. |

I'm still hanging on to that last lb before getting to the 150's. :( 160.8 this morning. I even did an hours worth of walking/shopping around a vendor's show at the fairground buildings where I live. Got to just keep sticking to my food plan, stay under 1300 cals, and get my activity in. It has got to go down, soon! Patience, Kat, patience....... |
Looks like everyone is rocking it! I had a bad couple weeks before this week and had crept back in to the 170s but I really buckled down this week and weighed in at 166.8! I'm feeling really motivated, I just hope it lasts :)

Samantha - welcome back to the 160's! Everyone has "those" weeks. What counts is you were able to break them and climb back up on the bandwagon. Good job!

chel - Hormones sure do play havoc on us females. Lucky for me, I am past that now, but I have to deal with other non-weight issues. Can we say "crepe paper skin"? lol It's more pronounced, now that I have lost weight, but I would rather have my heart healthy than worry about that.
I hit 159.4 yesterday and this morning 159.6. Going to wait a couple more days until I am firmly in the 150's. My weight likes to try to bounce up a bit after a loss, so, I will just wait it out. |

Had some very salty fish and salty black beans for dinner last night. I can usually tell I retained some water by how my wedding rings fit. The were a little snug this morning, hence I weighed in at 160.8. A little set-back, but hopefully this weekend, the weight will drop back down.

161.5 today :( only down 1 pounds this week even though stayed within calories including exercise. 150 still seems so far. |

Pink way to fit into old jeans, best feeling ever!! I weighed in at 164.4 today :) I started my period yesterday and can definitely feel the water retention, yuck! This week is my bday on Wednesday and I'm going out with friends Friday night to celebrate, there will be lots of drinks and junk food involved but I am just trying to assure myself that it's okay to have a fun night but just get back on track the next day. I'm only supposed to weigh in on Fridays but last Friday I was hella sore and bloated and didn't lose. I'm 160.8 today down from 162.4
I feel better but really the number on the scale shouldn't affect me this much. I've accomplished other things this week. I ran for 2.5 miles and signed up for my first 5k |
Trying not to self sabotage ,I'm back at 172lbs,tried to start sugar detox,since I'm really addicted,on Saturday,stupid day before Easter and I worked I'm a Rad Tech/ultrasound tech and worked Easter,which upset me cause my husband had to take our 2 kids to church by humself and I missed my daughter singing,so needless to say I was in a mood and had a really bad headache so I ate donuts,3 of them and dessert at my moms later. So all that being said,I started a new thread this morning on weaning from sugar one day at a time and I press forward in my goal of 20lbs gone by July.I hope all of you have a Blessed weight loss goal week.

Samantha - Hope your bloating has gone down. I know you are looking forward to celebrating your birthday with friends. What helps is making sure the "celebrating" doesn't keep on going after your birthday! I wish the scale didn't affect me either, but when I am on plan and the scale doesn't reflect the change I am expecting, I could literally toss it out the door! lol merowi2 - I feel for you, having to work the holiday and missing your daughter's singing. I have done the same, eating whatever and justifying it because I thought I deserved it because I was feeling sorry for myself. Sending you :dust: to get back on track! I have been bouncing back and forth the past few days from 159.x to 160.x, but that is not unusual for me. This morning was 159.8. This past weekend DH and I went to the campgrounds and had to reopen, clean up and restock our trailer. Saturday we raked 14 bags of leaves up and I was so pleased I did not get tired and sore like I did last year. Losing 60+ lbs, since last year at this time, surely helped! |
164.4 yesterday. Today I didn't weigh because I had a "mental health" day yesterday. Aka, donuts and beer. I'm not upset, I needed something like that yesterday. I don't expect not to have those kind of days. Still makes me a little nervous around the scale for a few days, hehe.

Felt like I had a whoosh yesterday so I weighed myself this morning and indeed I did.
I'm 158.9 down from HW 246 and my last weight was 161. I haven't seen 150's since before I was 10 years old. Wow. I know it's probably too soon to move to the other thread but I don't care lol. Take care everyone, see you in the next thread. |

Good job Chel and Kat!! Can't wait to join you guys in the other thread. I had a great birthday night out with my friends! I definitely ate and drank way too much but I still ended up with a 0.6 lb loss for the week so I'm totally happy with that! I'm at 163.8, hoping to have a nice big number his week!
