I lost weight, but finally took my measurements. Ay carumba! I'm so far from where I was. For some reason, the truth of the inches my waist is in circumference hit me harder than when I discovered that I was above 200 back in January.

Anyone else been shocked recently?

I have not been shocked lately and I am 190 at the moment. Hopefully I will officially be part of the next decade soon. Though I will stay here for a while as anything could happen. I should probably start measuring too though x.x

Gosh, dietcoke. You're sounding a bit defeatist.
I have felt that way before. Just this past December I felt so low and helpless regarding my weight that I actually got rid of my size 10 and below stuff because I figured it was a fantasy to keep it around. It's not a fantasy. You've managed a lot so far. You can do more, if you want. It just might take a while.

Oh, and yeah - those ads they randomly insert to this post or that are kind of annoying. At least those ads keep this forum running, I guess.

Awkardly Changing the Subject

This month has been great in my weight loss. I got started on the 1st and have seen solid returns on my hard work... Oh, except for the part where my husband and I took a weekend "off" and had probably 7,000+ calories on one crazy Saturday. I experienced quite a bump in my weight and FLIPPED OUT. Okay, I tried to stay calm, but the Monday after that weekend I weighed myself three or four times.

Anyway, it looks like I'm back on track-ish. Hopefully I can get down took the 180s by mid-March or so.

Best wishes with everyone's progress!

Anyone working on getting out of the 190's?
I weighed in at 193.8 yesterday morning, I didn't weigh this morning. Today I saw on my log on MFP that I was 189 on Dec. 28 last year, it would be awesome if I were that same weight this Dec. 28th! My newest babe is 1 month old today, so that would be pretty great.

I've never weighed over 188 prior to this week. I have been working too much, eating out constantly and not
doing other exercise. I am starting WW today. I am 191. Hope to be into 180s soon.

Default Same thing happened to me

I'm totally discussed with myself . I went from 192 to 200 today. It's like I don't know where to even begin. I'm joining a new gym in town when it opens the end of the month and being diabetic I really need to go low carb. I started a journal but need to refine what I'm eating.
I do best when I di the vinagar and Pom juice during the day.
Right now I just need to organize my thoughts and behave.
Too much holiday
