sonickel, I am sort of bouncing around, too. Yesterday, I weighed in at 197.4. This morning, 198.4. I eat out 4 days/wk and cook on the other days. I have noticed a pattern now. When I eat out, I always select what is on my South Beach plan as close as possible, but I think it has to do with the salt in restaurant food and my weight goes up the next morning. Last night we were running errands and decided to eat out. I had pork barbeque, no sauce, baked beans (probably had a tad of sugar) and cole slaw (which probably had a tad of sugar, too). On South Beach you try to refrain from eating anything with sugar in it, so it won't set off any cravings. I have had this for dinner before, so I know it doesn't. Then I sat and watched my DH eat banana pudding. I had a tiny little taste, about the size of a dime. Then came home and had my little square of 70% dark cacao chocolate (which is allowed) and that satisfied my sweet tooth.

I've been eating out a lot too Katiam. Especially those sushi rolls, which probably have more calories than I realise. Also going round to my Mums and Nannas houses, where the evening meals are rather large, and milo drinks and biscuits are all around....
Still stuck at 201.1!

Still stuck!
Trying to get the scale to move down by breaking the diet for a couple of days. I forgot to get weighed today so don't know how that strategy went. Back on it today! Fingers crossed!

It's so frustrating, to see a plateau and weight bouncing around all the time! Eating out has a lot to answer for.... katiam and leopardspots

Weigh in today was 198.2. I probably had too many grain servings last week, so I am cutting down this week some to see if I can lose a tad more during the week.

Sonickel - how did it go today? You back on track?

Katiam - Good job staying under 200. Its a huge stuggle to lose weight with a busy schedule and eating out. The increased salt kills me too. And makes me want to binge. Hopefully, you stabilize and have a good loss week.

I am STUCK in the 190s! All last week I was 197 and all this week so far 195. I understand that is a 2lb loss but I am on a VLCD, so generally looking at 3-5lbs overall. It is a bummer to eat just a few shakes all day and then wake up and not see the scale move! I am trying to drink more water...

I've been hanging out at 202.2 for three days, which is ok. That means I'm due a woosh, probably tomorrow. Will eat real good today and work out!
