- WATP five days

Natalie, it's so hard not to snack when you're stressed! Good luck! As for WATP, it's Walk Away The Pounds - it's sort of an in-your-living-room walking system. It's actually walking in place with knee lifts, kicks, arm work, etc. It sounds simple and the first few tapes are pretty easy but the third (the three mile) REALLY picks up the pace. If you're just starting out with aerobic exercise AND need very low impact, I hightly recommend getting the one, two, and three mile tapes and working up. I enjoy them - I do five days a week and take weekends off. I get enough walking in on weekends just running errands!

Natalie, I too do the watp tape, I started out on the one mile tape, nice and easy, took it slow, did that for about one month now I am om the 2 mile tape, a little higher impact, not too much though, I do 1.5 miles then the cool down portion of the tape, will do that for about 2 more wks then go onto the end of the 2 miles, and it is my goal to do that one for about a month, and so on. I love it!! feeling everyday!

Just a quick Hi! I have some things to get accomplished today. The main one being bugging the heck out of the States Attorney's office to file charges against that awful women who stold our money! They have not seen my wrath if they let her get away! Luckily I found another family she ripped off for practically the same amount she took us for. But I think they have a much stronger case so with the two of us maybe we can get somethign done! Cross your fingers!
Did not meet goal last week. Goal this week is to at least do 2 miles of WATP everyday. I have been so busy this has slacked some. Natalie WATP is great. I started out 1 mile and now do 3 mile when I have time. I have both the one for where you just use weights and the one for abs. Personally I think the abs is more challenging. Its easy and fun. I have been doing it since Jan and have not gotten board yet! It is fairly inexspensive depending on how you want to buy it. I got the tapes seperately for I think $6.95 at Target. My dh got me the DVD ab set for mothers day and i think it was $30 dollars but it has all three on one! I personally would by a 2 mile tape and see if you like it. You can do just one mile if you want but you will quickly build up to 2. Hope this helps. Good luck to all~!
An update on my goals. I suck. It's been a bad start to the week. I missed my workout on Sunday and it threw me off for the week. Yesterday was supposed to be my off day and I was going to make up for Sunday, but I blew it off and laid in bed all night. I'm not even sure how many calories I've injested. I know it's probably not been over 1500 and that's not good at all. Sorry, my update stinks.
I checked out WATP and it sounds like a good workout. It looks like something I can follow while on my mini-trampoline. This weekend after payday, I'll go around and price them.
Amanda, I am sure Jennifer is there with you already, if not should be there anytime....hope you have a fabulous time, it is wonderful to have such close friends!!! Have loads of fun, and I will talk with you in a few days

Just a quick Hi! Another busy day! I have been doing great on my goal. I even made myself exercise at 9:30 last night. I am determined to meet my goal this week. Of course I have family coming this weekend for my ds's bday so we will see how it goes!

How is everyone? Doing well here!! I did my 1.5 mile work out, the watp tape...last night I got energetic and did an additional mile so that was 2.5 miles yesterday!! Felt so good!

Good Grief, I really blew all my goals this week. I haven't worked out since Saturday, I've not been eating good at all. To top it all off, we have no food in the apartment so I ended up eating a chicken courdon blue sandwich and fries from our local pizza place.
Miraculously, the scale is still going down. It has to be that all that previous exercise bumped up my metabolism so I'm still riding the metabo-wave. Thank God!
No doubt, I will be back on track soon. I've got a lot going on right now at work and it's been taking all my free time. So once that all clears up I'll have my evenings to myself again. YAY!
Hanging in here. I had a 2 pound loss this week. So I am 138.25 now. I think I am going to stick around 130-135. I missed my goal yesterday though. I was to busy to exercise and by the time 9:00 rolled around I was beat. So know goal met this week.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. My family is coming because my ds turns 5 next week! And starts kindergarten. I get weepy everytime I think about it!
Where is everyone? Hope all is well. I had a nice weekend with my family but ate way to much. Then dh went to DQ last night and came home with a medium blizzard instead of the small. Like there is a whole lot of difference! LOL! But of course I ate the whole thing! I asked him to please not do that next time. I have no self control when it comes to ice cream.

Well since I totall blew last week it should be easy to set goals this week.

No junk food!
I will also try not to obsess about the scale. I know that all that cake, ice cream, fried mushrooms, and cookies is going to catch up with me. If I manage to maintain this week I'll be thrilled. So back on track is the theme for this week.

hi all! i just thought i would redefine my goal for the week, better. i dont know if i was clear. i really want to stick to my diet this week without going off once. i am not on a special program..just low cal/low fat. i really have to start excercising but i hate it. so for this week, my goal is simple..or maybe not so simple ...i will not even cheat once!
Welcome Jaya! I'm glad you've decided to join our group. Congratulations on your loss this far! You're doing fantastic. Good luck with your weekly goal, personally I think it's a little strict. It means even if you have one Hershey Kiss you blow your goal for the week. Don't be too hard on yourself sweetie! Good luck.
