This particular stall is worse than the others cause I'm so close! I can't weigh again until Tuesday as I'm going home for Canadian Thanksgiving, so good luck to everyone over the weekend and hopefully some of us can move to the next thread by the time I weigh in again!
TOM came today, so I'm back up from 160.4 lbs to 162.4 lbs. Even though I know it's not "real," it's still frustrating. I want to get out of this decade!
Down to 164.4 today. So relieved given that I had to go out for a big meal last Monday and was worried it would throw me off for the week. Great to be below 165! Getting closer to those 150s...
I've had an insanely busy time and although I've been eating well, I haven't been weighing myself or exercising as much lately. I stepped on the scale today and expected to see a jump, but instead was treated to 162.2!! Our bodies are so confusing sometimes. You can be working insanely hard and doing everything right and see the scale stall for months at a time. Other times, you are shocked to see you've lost weight. Glad to see so many of you are close to making it out of the 160s! Great work

This month was weird. Because of my ablation, I gained weight like normal and had cramps, but no period!? That's never happened to me. But my weight's down, so I'll prob start losing again for the next 2 weeks!
Sooooo I saw 158.8 on the scale today… actually 158.6 as well!!! I'm hesitant to call it though, I'll wait for my morning weigh in tomorrow, as it was a weird mid-day weigh in, travelling back to my apartment, I didn't have anything to drink that morning since I was travelling with a dog and there are no bathrooms in the area you have to stay in with the dog! So I had a glass of water when I got back, I ate a turkey sandwich on the ferry, and then I was doing laundry so took my clothes off and thought may as well weigh… 158.8/.6 came up???? So I don't know if I'm just dehydrated and that's why it was so low… OR if I am now in the 150s!!! Crossing my fingers <3
I'm soooo superstitious with my 3FC stats! I never move it down until I've seen the weight consistently, and even then if I see like 162.4 a bunch, I put my weight as 163! I don't know, I guess I just don't want to have to adjust it up!
EDIT: Saw 158 this morning, so I'm officially into the 150s thread! Hope to see you all there soon (if your goals are lower than 150s!).
I am so glad that I decided to lurk in this thread. Today is Day 1 and scale says 168.2. I needed the reminder about Aunt Flo because I am due this week and I would hate for the first week to be a bummer. I will have to keep this in mind when I am getting on the scale over the next week or so.
Welcome Christy! There's a lot of debate on how often to weigh, but I think it's a personal preference. Our weight fluctuates a lot from day to day- water retention from sore muscles, excess sodium, etc. can all cause temporary weight gain. That's why some people weigh once a week or even every other week, because they don't want to be discouraged by random jumps in the scale or they think it shows a more accurate reflection of the way the scale is headed. Personally, I don't mind seeing weight fluctuations so I weigh daily.
Aunt Flow likes to mess with our heads. During my period, I actually gain 3-5 lbs due to water weight but it usually goes away a couple of days after that time of the month. Don't worry about seeing the scale go up during that time and if it distresses you just wait a week and a half to hop back on!
