Did my 4:30 plank today and tomorrow finishes out the 30 day plank challenge with a 5 minute plank. I can't believe I made it! Granted, I only made it to 1-2 minutes on elbows and toes and had to switch to knees, but still beyond what I expected. Now I need a new challeng.

Good morning all!
Yesterday was travel day, but we got here early enough to go to a nearby state park and get in a nice hike. Festival today and tomorrow, hopefully will get some walking in.

Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend!

Morning all! I had a GREAT sleep! Went to bed at 10:30 and woke up at 7:30! Ahhhh!!!!

Scale is only down .1, but considering I keep waiting for all this loss to be a fluke and for it to go UP, I'll TAKE IT!

Good morning everyone!
DianaSounds you are about due for a relaxing weekend

Berryblondeboys Thanks! I love it when things like extra eggs & veggies seem like treats.

kelijpa Have a great time!

Coolmom75 Great job re planks!!! What's your new goal?

Today is 3rd day of the 4-week Ideal Protein phase off. Mood and energy are much improved with just the ~150 extra calories(my co-workers will verify this)! Scale is down to within .8 of goal weight. I still wake up at 330 am & hope to stay asleep longer eventually. Exercise will be yoga class and maybe a walk or short hike.

Have a great, loooong weekend everyone!!!

I'm definitely sore but it's a good sore...not too horrible but enough to let me know I got in some good arm work. I need beach arms!!

Last night I spent very needed time with my family, I was WAY overdue. It felt so good to see them again. The past few years I got too caught up in work, my anxiety issues, my BF, and I admit I don't make much of an effort.. but that needs to change. I get so depressed often because a lot of my family are passed on (or estranged ) and I want to spend time with the few that are left more often again. <3 I even went to Buffalo Wild Wings and had a few beers. I had a great time. I felt like my old self again.

I have things going on today and Sunday I work. I will get back to the gym either Monday (Open 7-1 for Memorial Day) or Tues night.

morning all! I had a great night of sleep, too! 11:00 last night until 9:00 this morning..WOW! I was tired.

I am up .8 this morning, which pisses me off, but I can't say I didn't know it would probably happen. I'm absolutely sure about the mexican food yesterday having a LOT of sodium, so I did pretty well only having a .8 gain. I'll talk DH in to a good, long cardio session today and if I can't (he's still very sore from lifting and riding yesterday) I'll hit the gym and use the cardio machines. The air trainer there knocks tons of water off because it makes you sweat twice as much as the other machines

Ok, having coffee right now, and had one of those little probiotic shots from Costco so far.

B - belvita breakfast biscuits!
L - maybe the other half of my angus burger patty on a slice of power seed bread
S - I'm hoping to cook some organic chicken breast and asparagus

Kelijpa and the other gals that gave me the encouraging words about the DH - everything is better - as I was writing that post the other day I started getting the apology emails...he knows he was wrong but really can we just skip that nonsense next time? MEN.

walked 5 miles today

we walked to the Gene Autry museum and sat at the cafe, I had an order of sweet potato fries and black iced tea while DH had a burger and fries. Not bad as we burned around 500 calories walking that far!

I'm going to pressure cook some organic chicken breasts w/cream of celery soup and serve it over organic brown rice along with some fresh asparagus.

YUM!

Syckgirl, that dinner sounds yum!

Today I did my 5 minute plank, rode 3.5 miles for the gym trip and did weightlifting. I've eaten 1145 cals and should stop but I haven't even had dinner yet. Hubby is making refried beans for burritos and I know I can't "afford" it.

Coolmom: Indeed, Syckgirl's dinner does sound really good!

Diana: Still haven't touched the ice cream. I've decided if I want a treat, it's allowed right before bed, if I reach my calorie goals. But I didn't decide for it last night.

Breakfast: BLT (250)

Snack: Protein shake, yogurt, raisin toast (227)

Lunch: London broil "steak" and cantaloupe. The cantaloupe was awesome...steak notsomuch. (251)

Dinner: Rice, broccoli and yogurt (315)

=1043.

I avoided the high cal dinner and had a bowl of cottage cheese, cantaloup and fish. Total for the day was 1485. Not bad.

30 day challenges are popular! I've browsed a few and a "beach body" one looks good. It's a mix of planks, jumping jacks, squats, etc. starts tomorrow!

Hi Everyone!

I have some pictures that I haven't put away or tagged with the information about the picture. I took some time to work on that today. I bought a couple more photo albums to put the pictures in. The only thing I have left to do is to work on the pictures that's on the disk in the camera. I think I will do that tomorrow. I don't know how many people still use photo albums, but I still do. I put them on photobucket, too. If something were to happen to me DH wouldn't have a clue about photobucket. I would rather keep our pictures in albums so he could still look at them if he wishes.

This will be a quick post. Enjoy your evening and rest well. Tomorrow we are grilling hamburgers and Monday will be steak day. My goal is enjoy this long weekend and hopefully to maintain and not show a gain. I tried to keep my carbs lower today so I could have the small piece of pie. Working on the whole moderation thing. I have our meals all planned out, so hopefully I can make this work.
