Do you think you have the guts to come clean to your friend? It might help you become more accountable, it might help her support you and devise more suitable strategies for you, and it might actually bring the two of you closer together. Just a thought.

I don't know if I could come clean with her. Honesty is the best policy but if I tell her I've lied this whole time about what I was actually eating she might get so mad that she won't try to help me anymore. She has invested a lot of her time into trying to help me plan meals and grocery trips. I didn't realize what I'd signed up for - she has great intentions - but the changes are so many so fast. I will consider approaching the subject with her - good idea
