I try and drink 4 bottles of water at work every day. To keep me from being bored, every other bottle I put a splash of MIO liquid in it. No calories, just adds a bit of flavor. And yes, I get up to pee every 40 minutes! Lol

The water thing is so bogus. Our livers are designed to detox us without chugging tons of water. I've lost and now maintained a190 pound weight loss without ever forcing myself to drink a drop of water I wasn't actually thirsty for. Can I get an amen!! .

You definitely don't have to drink that much water if you find it so stressful. Water does help, I've noticed this myself, but that doesn't mean you can't lose weight if you don't drink a certain amount of water. Also, you don't have to drink too much at a time, I always carry a water bottle with me and have a sip every 10-15 minutes. It's turned into a habit and I don't even notice it anymore, it's like a reflex, not a burden. Don't force yourself if you find it so awful, drink when you're thirsty and maybe in time you'll start to drink more.

If I drink more than one glass of water in a 1 hour period, I will have to pee so much! I try to just sip throughout the day and have a glass with each meal.

I tend to get through just over a litre of water per day. I was drinking a lot of water when I first started changing my eating habits & working out, but my body doesn't crave it as much, so I only drink when I'm thirsty. I just sort of figure that my body will tell me what it needs & when it needs it, so I don't try and stick to a set amount of water.

The first step towards being healthy is drinking more water. So I congratulate you for getting that drive to take that first step. I too did not like drinking water but my desire to be healthier lead me to eventually liking it and now loving it.

When I started increasing my water intake, I made use of those travel flavor packs. They are really easy to use and they instantly add flavor to the water. However, over time, I decided that I really had to like just plain water. So what I did is I slowly stopped drinking all the other flavored drinks--coffee, juice, tea, etc. Doing this made my body crave for water, and water alone.. I hated water but I knew I needed to drink it for weight loss and of course better healtlhy. It took me a month to really like water and now its been 5 months and water is the only thing I want to drink now.
