Default I understand how you feel

Hi, I realyy understand how you feel. I was over 100lbs overweight and I could not tell you what it felt like. I had to take control of myself and life. Firstly I did a gratitude list. Everything I am grateful for, friends family, health even though it wasn't great e.t.c Then I looked into someone to help me figure out what I want for me. I saw a trainer based on a recommendation, he was amazing. The first visit was nerve racking, and scary. But he gave me lots to think about and "home work". My immediate goals and my long term goals. Then I had to write 2 journals one for what I eat and one for what I am grateful for. Then he created a meal plan for me, I was required to join a health challenge in my state, he required this. He believed it was for accountability and community. Meet others that would support me. There are a lot of steps he made me do, I can share it with you. Start with this simple ones first, journal, gratitude, goals. I am down 80lbs and it has been 9months. I look and feel amazing and life has never been better.

Julesbond007, what you did is really inspirational. I have about 100 to lose, and I'm not nearly ready to hire a trainer, and put myself out there. But it sounds like it really made a positive difference in your life.

I do track my food daily on SparkPeople....haven't started an exercise program yet, but I know I have to.

Thanks for posting.
