I looked at a low sodium diet and I think its suppose to be under 2000 a day. I know its bad but a few weeks back I ate a plate of cheese fries, and I gained 7 pounds, talk about crazy, I'm sure it was the combination of fat/car/sodium that did it more than the calories. What was wrong with your foot? I have a foot problem too. Are you using your Weight Watchers activity points?

Hi Rosemarie, sorry it took me a while to respond to your question, I was re-reading the thread and just saw them.
I don't take a lot of sodium, and 2g a day is actually a low sodium diet, regular adults can have up to 4g (I'm a nurse and give pts 2g low sodium per MD order)
I had a torn ligament on my left foot that required surgery with a big screw inserted in my heel, was in a wheel chair for 2 months, one of the reasons I went back to yoga. I couldn't do cardio and needed to get my balance and leg strength back. And hot yoga burns a lot of calories, so it's working both ways.
I am getting about 36 activity points a week, and no, I do not use them. I sometimes use all my extra points. Last week I didn't at all and stayed the same weight, so this week I am going to use them all and see what happens. Weight myself today and it showed -2lbs could be a fluke, but we'll see. Are you on Weight Watchers too?
Started measuring too in order to offset some of my frustration with the weight. Wish I'd started sooner. Hot Yoga challenge ends today (30 days straight) and will see what else to do.
Please keep me posted on your progress!
Take care,
C
