A ballanced diet needs your calories to come from: 50% carbohydrates, 30% protein and 20% fat. This varies of course when you have metabolic health problems or excersize a lot, or if you are very short/tall. Make sure though you get at least 20% protein calories a day.

Protein and fat is what most cells are made off. Have you ever seen the starving kids in africa and thei huge bellies despite them being stick-thin? That is the result of too little protein in your food and you can get it at any weight.

As a different approach, may you be pregnant? I *really* hate being asked that, but some vegetarian friends of mine, when preggers, really had those cravings.

It very likely was the impending cold, though. I hope you feel better soon!

Hi It is unlikely, me and my husband already have a 2 year old and are not intending to have another for at least another 3 years! Whilst nothing is impossible I seriously doubt it, I am mid cycle at the moment so I would also not have thought that I would be experiencing any symptoms of that, I've never craved egg before lol! My first I craved mc donalds burgers and beans on toast my 2nd chocolate cake and chocolate milkshake (he still loves these things now so I guess he really wanted them!) Thanks for your reply, as I say I am really not expecting that to be the case but I will let you know in 2 weeks ish time lol!
