Actually, really losing weight is my goal this year.

My spreadsheet says that I won't -quite- make goal in 2012, but that I should spend December drifting into maintenance. I can handle that thought. I think that success in 2012 is about blending the new choices I'm making into a full year of life. Vacations, family gatherings, parties, etc.

My goal for 2012 is to remain smoke-free, lose another 60lbs, and finish the year as a runner.

My ultimate goal this year is to see my abs for the first time, ever. I've spent the last 3 years working full-time, going to school full-time and being a full-time husband and father. My goal for 2011 was to finish graduate school and I was awarded my Master's degree on December 16th. And I think I ate my way through it.

I weigh more now than I ever have and my body fat % is higher than ever. I have 67 pounds to lose and 24% body fat too much. At 45 years old, this is a tall task, but one I know I can accomplish. I'm shooting for October, but will be satisfied if I can make it by Thanksgiving.

I also want to help motivate others to reach their goals. Make 2012 your year. Choose.

To hit goal this year and learn how to successfully maintain my new body! Hoping to look good in a bikini this summer, if not then better in a tankini or something along those lines I'm giving myself to the end of 2012 though to get there cause I still have over 60lbs to go.

My goals are:

Get to my goal of being under 150, preferably by August 1
Take scuba lessons (my reward)
Keep going to my Pump it Up class, never skipping unless I absolutely have to (not because I just don't feel like it)
To not be the fattest girl in PiU class... and not because a larger girl joined
To not be using the lowest weights of everyone in the PiU class
To get back to the point where I stop craving food and start craving activity (I've been there before)
To get back into my size 14s... then to get out of them again but because they are too big this time, not too small
