What's success going to be for YOU in 2012?

So I'm sitting here today and trying to envision what my success will look like in the new year. So far I've come up with:

1) Getting into those sweatpants that are too snug now
2) Getting confident enough in myself that I don't want to wear sweatpants out anymore!
:lol::lol::lol:
3) Getting down under 190 by the summer
4) Having enough confidence to show some skin during the summer!:dancer::sunny::sunny:
5) Getting into my clothes and watching them fall to the floor because I'm too thin for them!:cheer2::cheer3::cheer2::cheer3:

What weights/NSV are you going towards doing the new year?! :)

Hopefully 2012 is a great year for all of us and the only loss we encounter is on the scale!!

Getting to my goal, finally. This is taking way longer than I ever imagined. That's okay, I've learned a lot, but I want to get to goal this year. I am not sure what number that will be. Maybe 155 or so?

Also want to improve my fitness dramatically so that a 2 mile uphill hike on the coast is not terribly hard.

Getting to my goal. I'm within 20 pounds of it after more then 3 years. :)

I want to run a 1/2 marathon sometime this year. Even a 10k would be an amazing goal to meet.

Getting to a Bikini. Even if its the end of the year and i'll have to wait till next summer to wear it in public.

Not worrying about weight. Just listening to my body with food and keep active. No calorie counting. No diet plans.

Maintaining the weight I've lost. I'm experimenting right now to see what my calorie level should be. I don't want to lose any more, but I seem to be slowly but steadily losing. For me, it has always been easy to lose but hard to maintain. I am hoping this time will be different---it certainly feels different. If I can reach next October having maintained my weight loss, I will be so proud of myself (October of this year is when I started playing with maintenance calories).

1) Reach my original goal of 147 (less than 10 lbs away!).

2) Get down another 12 lbs below that to 135, and then maintain in the range of 135-140. Not sure my body will let me get down that low (I have a large frame, and haven't weighed 135 since I was 12 yrs old - more than 20 yrs ago!), but right now I'm still losing pretty steadily and so at this point I'm thinking it's worth shooting for.

3) Get back to running again and work to increase my endurance and speed. Run a 5K in less than 30 minutes.

4) Get pregnant. In which case goals #1-3 may be put on hold for a while. :)

to reach 163-175. id love to hit goal but with 117lbs to go thats probably not going to happen. goal will probably take til spring of 2013 but thats cool with me. if i enter 2013 with only 25lbs to go ill be stoked really

2012 looks like kick boxing at the gym, something I've always wanted to do!
I hope to be at at LEAST 150lbs by September...but it would be lovely to be at 140.

I always told myself I wouldn't be fat for my 21st birthday! I really hope I can make it!!!!

My goal is to weigh 170 or less by the end of the year. I lost 25 a year ago and 28 this year. To lose another 25 plus would be great. And I would love to be lifting 25 pound weights by the end of 2012. I am currently lifting 15 pound weights.
I want to be stronger and healthier by the end of year. And maybe running by then, I am not sure about that one. I love to walk, it gives me time to daydream. I can't do that running so I don't know if I will enjoy the running and I need to stick to exercise that I love doing, or I won't be able to continue doing it.
And I want my own place in the next few months, I won't have to worry about junk food getting in the house that way!

Getting and STAYING at my goal! I was within 2 lbs last summer, but then from July-December put 8 lbs back on.

I want to feel confident in a bathing suit this summer when we go on vacation.

I want to look awesome and feel STRONG when I begin teaching mom & baby fitness classes in March.

I want to work on running and would love to run a 10k sometime this year.

I want to lose weight steadily and get pregnant. Those are my two wishes for 2012...anything else would just be icing on the cake.

Oohhh, and save money!

Madame Souza 01-01-2012 10:34 AM

My first goal in 2012 is to be overweight. I am only 2 lbs away! I thought I would get there in 2011 but I didn't.
My second goal is to loose 40 more lbs and then evaluate and see if this is my ideal weight or if I need to loose more
My third goal is to learn about maintenance and figure how to do that and stay on track for the rest of my life.

To reach goal. 2011 was the most successful year I've ever had with weightloss. I managed to loss roughly 50lbs and keep it off and I think it's thanks in a large part to these boards. I'm extremely focused right now. I'm on the threshold into Onederland and I am mentally in a crazy good place. I really think this is my year.

So great! Congratulations! I agree, these boards help me to stay focused too! :)
