Hello from the frozen south!

Hope everyone is doing well this morning and planning on staying op and getting that exercise in.

I can't even step out the back door because of the ice so it is to the mall for me when dh gets home to get it in.

Jana: you would love my Yorkie. He is such a sweety. If someone comes up to the door and knocks, he never barks, doesn't bark at strangers, loves to cuddle with you and sleeps with us and if I try and roll on my side and put my arm over dh to sleep, he will climb up and wiggle between us so he is the center of attention. When dh brought the kitten home, Fortune was terrified of it! They are good buddies now. He would also not climb the stairs to the upper level for several weeks, I had to practice with him everyday to make him comfortable. I am posting a pic of my three men working hard!

Well, I need to get the rest of my posting done and get the chores done!

Good afternoon. Slowly getting things in order here. DS is still running a temp, day #5 now, it is a terrible flu for little ones. DD had a Dr. apt this morning, we just found out that she has a bladder relux and keeps getting sick so now she is on medication once a day for at least 6 months and then will repeat tests to see how it is doing. She should grow out of it eventually but for now we battle her taking meds daily, LOL she dispises it!

Donna-those boys of your look very hard at work!!!

Jana-Good luck with the birthday dinner tonight, I'd help ya clean but I have enough to do around here!

Carree-Glad to see you post! Are you still battling insomnia?? I know when I am awake all I seem to do is eat and I need to stop, maybe put that energy into cleaning haha ya right!!

Here is a pic of my kids at christmas, I need to update and get their pic's done again.

Take care ladies!

Oh Julie what cuties you have. Sometimes in my less sane moments I miss having little kids, but than the sweet gs comes over and exhausts me and I straighten right up!

You guys are never going to believe this. Today has been such a rotten day and I have actually stayed op so far. First off, let me tell you that 3 years ago, Walmart lost a check we wrote in their store. I guess they must photo them or something because they contacted me and I checked to see if it had cleared and it hadn't. They immediately got crappy about it even though it wasn't my fault. I took all the info and went and got a cashier's check (because they wouldn't let me send them another check if you can believe it!) Anyway, I overnight FEDEX'D the darn thing to them with all the information, someone signed for it and about 2 weeks later I get this thing that they are gonna take me to court! I had to get a copy of the cashier's check (which they charged me for), the signed bill of FedEx and overnighted the info again proving I had sent it and they received it. They claimed the person who signed for it was not one of their employees. They were actually going to take me to court so I went to the bank and cancelled the original (which again I got charged for), bought another one and called them back and demanded to speak to the head of the department of collections. I took everything but this jerks underwear size down on paper and again overnighted everything. So far this had cost me $75 in assorted fees and Fedex charges. I assumed that was the end of it because I called their corporate office, demanded to speak to the head of the department who was not there, but I talked to someone else and they assured me they had received the cashier's check and everything was ok. Well, to make the story even more aggravating, my son called this morning and said the mortgage company pulled his credit report and said he had a report from Walmart's on it! His name is exactly like his father's except he is III. I immediately knew what was going on when I asked him what the date on it was. Shortly after this fiasco, we received our checkcard from our bank and have never written checks to anything but billpaying anymore. I knew we could not owe anything to that stupid corporation and that was also why we never knew about it. We had never tried to write another check. On top of that, about 15 minutes after I talked to him, my cat jumped on my curio cabinet, knocked a shelf out of place and broke two of my pieces of Lladro. For those of you who don't know what it is, it is spanish porcelain ( a lot of fancy jewelry stores carry their pieces they are pastel in color). My husband brought them back to me when he was on his first cruise and I have 11 pieces and they are worth about $6000! It is the only thing I ever freak about to any kids that are in my house. The cabinet is back in a recessed corner away from traffic anyway. I am just sick about it because my insurance doesn't cover breakage just damage from fire theft etc. The two pieces are now worthless even repaired. I then got an e-mail from my shrew older sister chewing me out because I hadn't told her we were coming to Indiana and demanding we spend a day together and it went on and on. Now I am in a totally foul mood.
The only bright spot is I have my new dishwasher and it is beautiful! Just hold me in good thoughts so I can get over this blue funk. This was just not my day I guess.

OMG Donna what a terrible day you are having! Wouldn't you just love to take Walmart and FedEX to court for punitive damages!! Take them to say Judge Judy! That is rediculous, firstly that is Walmarts problem that they lost your check in the first place and secondly FexEX should have never given it to anyone other than Corporate or at least because it is a check someone with proper identification of authority! I would be just sick about!
And as for the china, hugs for you.
Lastly your wonderful sister, hmm I swear we all have one per family. I myself am finished dealing with my sister, she has really messed up her relationship with everyone in our family.

Hurray for the dishwasher, no can I send you my dishes to wash?!

Take a break
Julie
