I love to read about non scale victories and thought I'd share mine. We're having a fundraiser at work and my shirt is a SMALL!! The last time we did this I had to fight for the xxl. Yey me!! How about you any NSV to share?
I literally ran out of my shorts last week! I was on my treadmill running and midway through my run I felt my shorts go down, down, down, they got to below my butt and I had to yank them up, this happened throughout the rest of my workout! Good thing I was wearing undies and good thing I workout in the privacy of my basement
My NSV is that when I went to the mall to buy work slacks last week, I was frustrated that they were completely out of size 6's in EVERY color and style. I finally grabbed a 4 knowing that they'd be way too tight. To my surprise, they fit perfectly and I bought two pairs! I have a pair of the same slacks from a few years ago in a size 14! It feels awesome to go from a 14 to a 4.

Oh that is too funny - I think it means you have some shopping to do!

I know, but I love these so much, I may try to alter them. I have looked for the same ones, but am not able to find them. They are actually Danskin yoga pants, come to my knees made with nylon so no inner thigh rubbing, now I can only find poly spandex ones and those give off too much friction and are much more clingy and hot!. I don't think they will be hard to alter and don't have to look fabulous or anything.
I've noticed throughout my weight loss journey that it's become quite a bit easier to do exercises that involve jumping around. I've always exercised, so it's not that I'm getting fitter (I didn't really change my exercise routine) it's just a lot easier to jump around and stuff at 152 pounds than it is at 200 pounds.
Great NSVs everyone! Mine has been staying OP every single day since July 1st when I got back to exercising and eating right after my last baby was born. We can all do this!
I was getting dressed for school on Friday and took a minute to appreciate that I was wearing an outfit similar to one I would have worn last year, but everything was several sizes smaller- including my boots! I had to get new ones because 1) I wore the old ones to death and 2)They were way WAY too big! I somehow went from a size 9 to a 7.5.
I also got some great compliments from my trainer this week about my work ethic. I do work damn hard in that gym and it was nice to take a minute to stop and reflect on that .
We've been working on a big declutter project for my mom and I can climb in and out of a big 4WD pickup no problem. It would have taken a step stool in the past.

My NSV for the week...
I was at a nearby grocery store picking up a few things yesterday. A guy was going around with samples of chocolate cake or brownie or something, and I politely said, "No Thanks".... that was big for me because I love chocolate. I even walked away with a smile

I have those same shorts! I found mine at a Dick's Sporting Goods store. Unfortunately, they don't sell them online.
