Absolutely! And please don't let anyone's else progress at the gym make you rethink how fast you are going, how long, etc. Everyone is different, and it can take a while to get back in the groove.
I hadn't really "worked out" for years...like YEARS. So I started slowly and had a few friends comment about how I really could do more. Yes, I COULD, but that's how I burnt myself out in the past. Too much, too soon. I made myself do 30 minutes for a long time. Eventually I did 45. Now after 4 months of SERIOUSLY working out consistently, I am strong enough to do 1 hour workouts anytime I want.
