Size: 12 jeans (Old Navy- their sizes run big, but its my favorite store so I rarely shop anywhere else!)
Medium or large for tops- I would definitely need a large for a button up blouse
and I just bought two dresses both size medium from Old Navy - this made my enormous hips feel slightly less enormous.

I see this posted over and over, but I always wear a size *bigger* at Old Navy (i.e., they run small). What a weird thing.

Default Hi!

I'm 5'5, 230 lbs, and wear a 22W. I was shopping for new clothes a few weeks ago (new job, need "career" wardrobe); Before then I couldn't have told you what size I was.

I did notice the "cuter" clothes seem to be in the normal sizes.

PS..

How do I get that little "ticker" to display on my posts. I really like it

I think Old Navy sizes tend to fluctuate. I always take 3 pair in to try on, I've held them up and they can be as much as an inch off from each other! I think it's the way they cut them, maybe too many layers in the stack or something.

Either way, I'm 5'6, 173. I'm a 12 in Banana Republic jeans-which I love! They actually fit so well and are fun to shop for. But I have a pair of Gap jeans from maybe 4-5 years ago that I can get on, zipped with little trouble but are a but too snug for me to feel comfortable in public in them without a sweatshirt or something. So maybe I'm closer to a current 10 then I realize

Better this comment than the one I got yesterday... I got my rings sized finally, went to a 4, but they are still spinning freely around my finger, a 3.5 would fit the finger part better. 3.5 is a little snug on my knuckle though, could probably do a 3.75. The jeweler said I have an large 'knuckle to finger' ratio, so my rings might just have to be loose on the finger to go over the knuckle. When I told DH he said "I'm not surprised, you have your mom's witch hands." He did say later "some witches are good looking", so there is that.

At 165 and 5'6", I'm a M or L on top and a 12 on the bottom. In the 190s, I was XL or XXL and around a 16. Thanks everyone for sharing your information - I've been trying to figure out how low I need to get to fit into a size 8 and this has been a big help.

Default Weight and Height...

Currently I am about 138.5 pounds, I'm 5'1" and I wear size 10-12, depending on the give of the fabric. I am small framed and feel as if I am carrying too much. I am now stretching it a bit and wearing a tight medium and comfortable in a large, t-shirt... Shoots!

I'm 5'3" and weight 160ish, I wear a size 12 jean (Gap and Ann Taylor Loft) and Large tops. Hourglass figure so evenly distributed on the top and bottom.

I can tell you my previous sizes before each of my kids...

150, size 10 jean and M/L tops
135, size 6 jean, 4/6 dresses & skirts and Small/Medium tops (I've always been a D/DD so some tops just aren't made for bigger boobs)

Sigh...to be there again!

I'm 5'2" 197lbs and a size 16 average pants (with the exception of one pair of stretch cords) and a large shirt or XL in juniors.

At 245 I was a 20 pushing 22. I hit the 18s around 220.
