Today is the prep for the endoscopy and colonoscopy so no solid food only liquid mixed with nasty tasting medicine. I am not going to weigh myself for a few days, I am sure they will weigh me tomorrow at the doctor's office and that is okay but I am going to ignore the weight. I will weigh in again on Labor Day as I have a goal to weigh 235.

Morning ladies!

I was bad yesterday: 1. Overate at lunch (at work, which is rare for me)
2. Had a huge salad for dinner, but then: 2 or 3 bowls of cereal, then an entire bag of microwave popcorn (lower fat kind but whole bag is about 360 cal), then 2 fiber 1 blueberry muffins.
Then went to bed early due to my "food coma."

I know I keep saying this, but TRULY goint to aim for a better day. Shouldn't be as stressed today...

Morning DogMom! Sorry to hear about your food coma. I hate it when that happens! That's why I have to avoid going over my carb ration for the day. It's definitely difficult to stick to plan when you are stressed. I've been there before - everything processed and totally bad for you just called to me during those times. I found that when I carried extra fruit or oatmeal bars, I wasn't as eager to attack the vending machine. I also carried change in only $20 bills because I knew if I had smaller change, I would go to the vending machine.

Haven't eaten yet, so will check back in later.

It's been a while since Echo's checked in. Hope she managed to get her comp fixed!

Hey there ladies.. hope all is well with all of you!... I have had a long couple of days.. yesterday I ended up eating way below my calories... like seriously only like 536 calories all day as I just wasn't feeling great.. so today i went over my daily alloted to kinda make up for such a huge dip yesterday... I am feeling much better.. so here goes.. my day...

Breakfast -Slimfast Shake
Morning Snack - 1 whole wheat bagel and small wildberry yogurt
Lunch - Slimfast Shake
Afternoon Snack - 14 wheat thins and a fruit to go
Supper- chicken sandwich on toasted ancient grain bread, 1 glass of juice
Evening Snack - 20 triscuits, 3tbsp. of shredded partly skimmed mozza cheese, 1 glass of juice and 1 nature valley chewy granola bar

Daily Allotted Caloric Intake-1,200- 1,550
Total Calories for today - 1,964

I am trying to have one larger calorie day a week, while staying within my range the rest.. some days closer to 1,200 while others are closer to the 1,550... cycling I guess you would say..lol I just hope it keeps on working!! lol
happening I am glad everything went back the way you wanted it too... lol t.o.m can be so frustrating..but I liek to see that bigger drop after its over..lol

My colonoscopy and endoscopy went well today and thanks so much for all the well wishes. I get results in a week and I did not have any polyps! I ate heavy today but stayed on plan and tomorrow I can start back with the fresh veggies and fruit. :carrot:

Happening - water weight is the worst, right? I always get depressed when I see that I've gained 3-4 lbs over ONE weekend especially when I've been on plan. Good to know you're slowly dipping back down.

Cape - Oooh, girly you're just slipping down your ticker! I'm seeing the same trend but I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Even though I ate within my range the day I was sick, I still think that weight will come back to me in the next couple of days. Today was err, kinda bad... :p

Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder (125 cals), Instant Oatmeal (130 cals)

Lunch - 7 spinach + mozzie raviolis (300 cals), 1 bag popcorn (100 cals)

Snack - ok, I made these fried buns that I loved as a kid. I made 8 of them and was tempted to eat all 8, but I was happy with 2. Each 170 cals (calculated ingredients and then assumed all of them absorbed 10% of total oil used) [340 cals] banana (100 cals)

Dinner - Chicken jalfrezi, okra curry, 1 cup cooked white rice (500 cals)

Dessert - 1 burfi, 1 bun (300 cals)

1900. Wow. That's actually right within my range! Woohoo! I also spent 1.5 hours cleaning, doing laundry and ironing clothes so I guess that would burn some of those cals. Hope to see a loss or maintainance tomorrow! :D

Any of you gals have anything special planned for this weekend? I'm going shopping to finish up my outfit for my vegas trip. Hee hee hee. I get to buy shoes. :devil:

Good to know you guys have been on plan. I haven't binged, but I have definitely overeaten these past two days without exercising, which is showing on the scale. Next week, I'm off to Vegas, so I would like to get back down to 161 (162.5 today) before I leave. Toots, I was hoping to be at 160.

So this week, it's clean eating with exercise!

Breffix - oatmeal (160), 1 cup skim milk (85), 1 tbsp cocoa powder (45)

Snack - pear

Lunch - dunno. Have some options...

Dinner - dunno again. I was thinking of making homemade pizza...

AM Snack: Fiber 1 Blueberry muffin, 154 cal.

Lunch: Slim Fast shake, Fiber 1 bar, walnuts, dried fruit.
435 cal

PM Snack: Banana and cookie crumbs: 169 estimated (depends on wt of ban)

Forecasted dinner: Salad.

If I stay OP I will be at 1700, my goal.

Won't have time to exercise: Worked OT, then going straight to my sister's.

9-7 AM Update: Ate perfectly at my sister's last night. Had a salad with minimal dressing, no croutons or junk.
Then totally ruined it when I got home: Had 2 bowls of cold cereal, 1 hot: this was an additional 768 cal, and thus my total was at 2280 rather than anywhere near 1700.

Up a pound this morning.

- 1 small yam with 2tbsp 1% cottage cheese, Mrs Dash spices, with a grilled chicken breast and 1 cup steamed broccoli - or salad?

Snack (planned)
- I dunno! Maybe an apple with some nuts.

Dinner (definently planned!)
- SUSHI! I bought all the tools. I am making California rolls for DH and salmon sashimi for myself. This could be a disaster.

Today was a good eating day, but not so good on the exercise.

Breffix - 1 cup skim milk, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal cinnamon roll (285)

Snack - 1 banana (100 cals)

Lunch - 1 ft long subway sub. 6" turkey breast, 6" chicken breast. I know I should probably only eat a 6" sub, but I love them. :P (600 cals)

Snack - 1 banana (100 cals)

Dinner - homemade pizza with veggies and feta cheese. Dunno how many calories, the crust is 325 cals so I'll add 200 for feta cheese and another 200 for the veggies. (725 total - overestimation)

Total for the day: 1810 cals. Woohoo!

I went exercising at the mall. Went to get some new clothes for my trip. :) Just a pair of pants and a nice shirt. I'm waiting until I get to goal before really splurging on clothes. :D

Oh Lordy....I got up in the middle of the night and was ravenously hungry, it was horrible. I could not get back to sleep. I ended up eating a left over hamburger from our holiday cookout yesterday and 2, count them, 2 slices of pumpkin bread. Well, I am not going to let this hinder me in eating well this week. I will not skip meals and I will stay on my plans. I will eat breakfast so I don't get so hungry during the day. I will have a snack after dinner to make sure I don't overeat if I wake up hungry.

(lol i know so healthy haha, but i just had such a craving for junk food snacks today- i'm expecting TOM)


exercise:
1. p90x - chest and back workout (~1hour)
2. p90 x - Ab ripper X (~16 minutes).


dinner:
salad. rice (~1/2 cup). 1 roti with brown daal (lentil soup). 1 very small piece of honey roasted chicken, and 1/4 of a roast potato piece (~honey roasted).
dessert - 1/4 cup of Halwa (semolina pudding - that i made for the first time, under my mum's instructions. my mom is so sweet she wanted to teach me how to make it).
:eating2: total time taken to eat meal - 40 minutes.

Now going to have a cup of peppermint tea.

Scale was up a pound likely due to overnight binge but stayed on track with eating today and got hours of exercise....yes, hours of walking today at a ren festival. I feel really calm and yet energized with all that exercise!!! :dancer:

no exercise today...bad me, I know.
breakfast, 1 nectarine, and 3 turkey sausage links
lunch, grilled chix breast with lettuce, lt mayo on white bun, bottle of water.
snack..soft serve choc ice cream cone.
dinner, low sodioum beef veg soup, wheat crackers, tomato juice, 1 boiled egg, with 1 tsp salad dressing.
all in all did OK in the food dept.
NEED to step up the exercise, tho!!!
more working outside tuesday!

I exercised today. Then we had a barbeque tonight! Was a bad food day! Back on the Wagon tomorrow!!

Walked 3 miles before dinner. My dog Lucy actually wanted to quit before finishing the last lap. I had to remind her that at that particular park, it's five laps, not four. :D

Just tested my blood glucose before going to bed and it hit 115. :mad: This is the highest bedtime reading I've had since I started monitoring my BC for the past week. I am soooooooo upset. Tomorrow morning I see my dietitian and find out how my diet is working so far (I get weighed).

G'mornin Ladies... I am having computer issues so I was unable to post last night...

So heres yesterday...

breakfast - 1egg n 2 egg whites scrambled, body wise multigrain bread, 1 cheese stick, 2 clemintines and 1 scoop blueberry protein powder in 16oz of water

lunch - 1 haddock fillet, 1/2 cup brown rice and raspberry protein powder in 16oz of water

snack - 15grams of natural whole almonds and 1/4c. of lime jello

Supper - 6oz of chicken and 1 medium sweet potato with 16 oz of water

I went under my calories yesterday... so going to shoot for higher cal day today..
yesterday I ate 1,072 calories and my range is 1,200-1,550... I also ran/walk for a half an hour yesterday
