Vintage 50's and 60's dresses.

My daughter is going to kill me when I start dressing up like June Cleaver!

What is really want to wear with pride is my birth suit.
When it comes to clothing, I always wanted to wear tops that require you to go braless. I don't think it will ever happen because my boobs have never been that small (I am a C cup) and at 49, gravity has taken its toll.

I was going to post a picture of Dara Torres that I saw many times - in a white tank top and blue jeans, her thumbs hooked up in the pockets. But I found the one I am attaching. I simply want my body to look like Dara, that is the ultimate goal for me, the very tip of the Olympus. And of course I never will look like her, but I want to get at least as close as I possibly can.

P.S. And that is why I will swim for 50 minutes this afternoon!

a two piece bathing suit, a close fitting halter top and a sexy pair of jeans, and a tight fitting summer dress are the clothes that keep me motivated!

a sleeveless white sundress
tankini
skinny jeans
cute retro dresses, like the ones several of you have picked out

I love finding cute stuff at goodwill or vintage stores, but it's tough b/c you can't choose sizes and most of the stuff I like is too small - I'm down 20 pounds (as of today) and I think in about 20 more I'll be able to make some good purchases from consignment/vintage places.

OH! I can't wait to go to that website. There are so many things I would love to be able to wear!!! I haven't been able to shop in a normal store in so long!!!!!

--a great summer dress (I haven't worn a dress in about 15 years!! LOL)
they always make me cute and girlie!
--a great pair of jeans, cute sandles and a great sleeveless top
--a swimsuit (and actually feel comfortable wearing it!)
--shorts

for the most part, i just want to be able to wear my clothes and not constantly be wondering if my fat is showing. i want to feel comfortable and beautiful no matter what i'm wearing. i am tired of always being the fattest one in the bar/room/restaurant. i am now about back to the weight i was in the latter part of college which is good cause i'm just on the normal bmi/overweight bmi cusp, with most days on the normal side. and i look MUCH better than i did 10 months ago. but being at this weight was sorta the beginning of my massive downward spiral because at this weight, the aforementioned problems still stand. things got out of control for me at this point because i grew frustrated with being fat, exercising, and constantly having to think about what i ate and still not losing any weight. so i just gave up. i think it'll be another 10 lbs at least, maybe 15, before i can feel good and confident about my body and i'm hoping this time it'll actually work for me because i understand a lot more about the process this time around.

I'm looking forward to:

-Skinny jeans
-Tight fitted t's
-Mini skirts
-Shorts (I haven't worn shorts in YEARS )
-Tank tops
-THONGS !!! yes it's so weird but I've bee dying to wear one, but I won't look good in one until I lose this weight
-Pretty much all clothes are going to look 10x better on me after I lose weight so I'm just looking forward to looking better in everything I wear

The clothes I typically buy (Hollister, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Gap etc.) are mostly designed for "skinny" teenagers and they don't look too good on me but I'm trying to fit in, so I'll continue to wear them after my weight loss and I'm sure I'll finally look good in them.

Wow, that site is fun! Unfortunately, most of the shoes look fetish-y to me.

I look forward to wearing: sleeveless shirts, tank tops, dresses (I look like a schoolmarm right now), more skirts, shorter skirts, bras that aren't industrial-strength. I look forward to trying things on and knowing that I will look somewhat like how it looks on a store model or in a catalog.

Imma go try it as soon as I have time!! Too fun!! This is just what I need to do because my dad is giving me money for my next to last goal and my main goal, just for clothes!!! $500 then $1,000.

I cannot wait to go spend it and this is perfect. I even was looking the other day to see if I can save outfits on sites I was browsing so I can go back and look at what I'd picked out. Yay!!!! Thanks soooo much for sharing!!!!!

Selina

PS I am sooo gonna print out my choices and keep them where I can see them!!!

This might sound silly to you guys, but I've always just wanted to be able to dress really slutty on Halloween. I don't mean like, in underwear... But in short shorts, net panty hose, spike heals... I'm sure you know what I mean.
