I'd feel guilty using Auction stealer, do as you would be done by and all that!!! Over developed guilt complex.

I hope the rash subsides....could it be something new flowering on dem dere moors? My skin is really sensitive, and the only thing that works is paw paw cream, which you cannot buy here for love nor money. I got four pots two years ago in Oz and am just running out now!!!

I feel much better, it's just the throat, and working in a call centre, in my experience, it's best to take the day off when a sore throat appears, and it usually goes away. A day of talking would have killed my voice completely. And perhaps spread it round the office.

After my dummy spit over a week ago, every one is being very nice to me at work, it's quite pleasant!

My dh doesn't cook anymore, he has cooked for me a few times, but he isn't that confident in the kitchen. Oh and once he made me a suprise. I walked in, looked at the pot, and said "I hope to God that isn't rabbit" and he burst into tears. I am sure I told him I hate rabbit! I ate it though, blech!

2frustrated 05-09-2006 11:08 AM

You made him cry!!! ;) Awwwww bless!

I doubt I'll be getting rabbit any time soon from Mr Tree-Hugging vegetarian!

kykaree 05-09-2006 11:15 AM

He was really annoyed at me, but I had told him about the rabbit thing!!! Men!!!!

 tree hugging vegetarian  What about frus-hugging vegetarian??? I tried your pants on again today, and am pleased to say, they are fit for public wearing, after I taken them up a wee bit.............no wonder tree hugger loves you, you must have very long legs, like a willow trunk!!!!

I'm completely confused by weight loss, I give up. I gave in and weighed myself last week, and the scales say I am the same as I have been for months, but I am definitely smaller. A size 16 fitted skirt and I am 5 feet 4 and 196 lbs???? It's enough to make you :dizzy:

2frustrated 05-09-2006 11:25 AM

Yeah he's a frus-hugging veggie too!

My tree trunky legs are about 31-32" but they make up for it in girth!

DH and my neighbour (who's some kind of nurse) thinks its measles.... oh great! Just what I need! I'll have to go in to hiding until my doctor's appointment on Thursday.

I'm not sure I could eat a rabbit either. Its the whole Watership Down thing.....

Hello everyone

Oh my poor Kerry I must put my hands over her ears all this talk of eating her mates!!

I've just been to the gym the first time in over a week, and again have resisted the goodies at work.

I must start shifting some weight again. I'm just stuck here at the low
end of the ten's. I've got a bit complacent I think.

I was in the bookshop earlier saw this book which I think was called
Fat Girl Conversations something similiar anyway. It's about two big girls
who were bullied at school for being so big and vow to stay friends forever.
One works in a bakery and is still a big girl but doesn't your one lose a pile
of weight by surgery and meet the man of her dreams. I think I shall buy it.

Anyway take good care everyone.

Michele

kykaree 05-09-2006 03:41 PM

No more bunny talk, Kerry can come out now!!!

I do hope its not measles :( That's not fun. Everyone thought I had chicken pox when I had those awful spots, but it wasn't, it was a still-not-identified allergy.

Mazarin 05-09-2006 04:35 PM

Hi guys just thought I would check in and say A BIG HELLO, I do read as often as I can just don't really get the time to post especially at work now with BB watching! :dizzy:

There is not a great deal to say from me.... life if errmmmm plodding along and once again I am finding my feet in the weight loss war.... I have a new target in mind and I am aiming for something really big next year..... this in it's self is going to keep me on track!

Its day 10 and I am doing well, with no chocolate!

Homer's Mummy has inspired me..... she is doing so well and I am so proud of her! :smug:

Hope we are all well!

2frustrated 05-10-2006 04:02 AM

Michelle - I've read that Conversations with the Fat Girl, it was quite good. A quick read though, nothing too enlightening, but a nice story!

 for your measle-pox Sarah, take it easy and rest up.

Maz - I'm expecting great things of you ;)

Well I was trying to work out why it was hard to climb the stairs this morning - then I remembered kickboxing! My biceps are burning nicely too! I can almost do my grading thingies, which is great! I think it was because I took a couple of weeks off, sometimes it helps!

I'm off to the gym again tonight, straight after work and before haddock for dinner, then we're off to bar Ha Ha! for live music. :D Weeeeeeeeeee! Sounds like a good day to me! AND it means that I don't have to squeeze in my workout at lunchtime, so I can either play internet games :frypan: or read The Constant Gardner!!

How do I get rid of my furry rhubarb teeth? :D

Sarah Ann 05-10-2006 11:33 AM

Yuck - I hate the weird feeling rhubarb leaves in my mouth (love rhubarb though!) - the only way to get rid of it is to clean your teeth.

My spots are worse but I don't think its measles, I think its an allergic reaction to something but I'm not sure what yet. DH went and got me some anti-histimine tablets which haven't done much for the rash but I did sleep for nearly 11 hours last night!! Its slowly spreading to cover all my front, the lower half of my back and my arms - none on my face and very little on my legs. The only time it hurts is when I'm in the shower.

So, after I finally woke up, I did my cardio and DH decided it would be best if he walked the woofers so I stayed in and did a great LBWO.

Its DH's day off and he's cooking. We're having a BBQ for an early dinner, trout stuffed with tarragon, lime and garlic, chicken drumsticks marinaded in peri peri sauce - bulgar wheat salad and baby vegetable kebabs with a watercress, rocket and lambs lettuc salad. Yum!!! We also got a fresh pineapple to BBQ, he slices it thick, sprinkles each slice with a teaspoon of rum, then after the first side is done and it is turned over he sprinkles the done side with a teaspoon of dark brown sugar and waits for it to caramelise - the alcohol in the rum burns off but its left with this FABULOUS flavour.

I'm SO hungry - I forgot to have lunch and afternoon snack today!

I shouldn't have said this rash doesn't hurt - its just started stinging!

2frustrated 05-10-2006 11:54 AM

Can I come for tea?

It's gym time! WOOOOO! And the sun's shining! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! :hyper:

I have an allergic reaction on my hands from that 3 min Aussie hair stuff (well it was from something from my free superdrug summer pack anyway) my hands look like the singing detective/elephant man/someone with bad skin now. I spent all night itching them.

Quick drive-by posting time!!!

I'm in spain, and I'm actually eating sensibly. For once. Bizarrely I think I'm actually eating better here because there's less opportunity for snacking. I'm still meat free (ish - there were a couple of bacony sprinkles on a salad I had the other day, but nothing too dramatic), I've been eating salads and healthy stuff, and I've been putting my foot down when it comes to wholly unhealthy stuff. I've not been doing much exercise - I got in a 6 mile run before my flight on Saturday morning but no running since, I've not been swimming because it's not really been warm enough, but I did walk for ages on the beach today to make up for it.

I've been wearing size 12 stuff all week, including my new bikini :carrot: (although that did give me a little sunburn in places that have never seen the light of day before!). I have made my customary trips to Mango and Zara, but didn't buy much other than some new suit trousers because my old ones were too big (the jacket is still OK) and they're much cheaper here. I got some nice new perfume and smelly stuff for my birthday from my mum.

I'm having my hair done tomorrow by someone who hasn't seen me since I started losing weight (she's a friend of my mum's and sometimes does my hair when I'm over), so that should be fun. Then I'm off to Madrid on the overnight flight tomorrow night.

Tonight some of my parents friends are coming over to shoot a dvd of their new house for me to show to my grandparents, then we're off to a local restaurant where they do a lovely veggie lasagne so I think I'll have that. Possibly a little vino tinto to go with it, obviously ;)

Anyway, I'd better get off and stroke the cat or something photogenic. The computer here is horribly slow but hopefully it will post OK! Hope you're all having a good week.

Helen

impossible princess 05-10-2006 02:56 PM
