Oh happy day.
I discovered that the pair of jeans I tried on on Friday were £75 more expensive than the cheaper seven for all mankind jeans. And that there really wasn't £75 worth of difference between them. Number one ticked off the list of "things to do before I turn 29", Buy something from Harvey Nicks ;) |
Oooooh you got the jeans!!!! Were they 7 for all Mankind or did you get something else?
The football was brilliant :D And sorry I supported England, sort of. Rio Ferdinand played right in front of me a lot of the first half, so I was a happy girl! I did try to remind him about forgetting to take me to Mr and Mrs Posh's ball, but as I was sitting in the clouds, he couldn't hear me ;) Apart from that, nothing much happening. |
I have always wanted some designer jeans.
One of these days I will splash out, providing they do them in little petite short leg sizes. It is my birthday tomorrow, the years have flown by. I shall be 42 tomorrow don't make me say that again!! However I think I look better now than I did when I was 32. Tomorrow my friends and I are going out for a drink possibly a bite to eat we are undecided yet. I have seen the most gorgeous shoes in New Look a bargain at £20.00 a kind of dark petrol blue colour with a round toe and a bow on the front with a high heel they are quite gorgeous. I had hoped to be nine and a half stone by my birthday but alas I am not. As I said the other day I have become much too complacent. Too used to people saying oooh Michele you got so tiny which I am not. It's an optical illusion as I have tiny hips. Anway enough of my body. I have the week off its half term, so I am off with the boys. Martin is off too, so today we are all going walking on Dunstable Downs. Have a great day everyone Michele |
I'm off too! But I'm... er... sick. Or at least I was this morning when I rang in! I had a whopping migraine and couldn't get out of bed. But I've been asleep for a few extra hours, and now I feel ok. I'm going to spend the rest of the day infront of the TV just in case though... Undecided about kickboxing tonight, I might just go for the easy class. I have no idea - must consult with DF, he'll probably want me to stay in! Oh and YP :woo: Happy New Jeans :woo: |
Hi - I'm alive and kicking just a bit snowed under at the moment.
Frus - you are a worry to me - TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! Michele - I've got hips that are smaller in proportion than the rest of me as well which means that if I buy low waisted jeans/skirt I can get it in a size smaller than if I buy something that has a waist high waistband. We've just found out that there has been an application for planning permission on a large strip of ground at the back of our house which we thought was part of the Moors (which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and can't be built on). I'm sure they've done their homework so it can't be part of the Moors but it does seems strange to be planning to build houses on an area of what is, essentially, semi-drained bogland. There is an 'open' consultancy meeting this afternoon which they've kept very quiet about. Someone else who walks the Moors came by ask me if I'd heard about it (I hadn't) so we've decided to get together as many people who will be affected as possible to go along to this meeting this afternoon to find out what is going on. The problem is that the land was (years and years ago) used as storage for the local coal mine and had some shed type buildings on it which have long since collapsed - but it does mean that it isn't a greenfield site. |
