You really wouldn't like the icecream Sarah. Col likes the berry nice. There are two low fat versions, but I haven't tried them.
Can we stop talking about food now please??? |
Okay... whats everyone planning for dinner? :) :) :) I'm just doing my menus for the next couple of weeks and I'm running out of ideas.
|
We're going to Old Trafford tonight, so I am buying butties at work to take with us......... Not thought about rest of week yet....
|
Eeeeew doggy farts!
The low fat B&Js is the best low fat ice cream I've found, it's not that low-fat though! And you still have to eat it out of the tub! Dinner is... drum roll please.... A protein bar! |
I'm doing turkey mince spag bol with wholemeal spag. I've made up the bol bit and it doesn't look very promising :( I might bung in a bit of chilli to liven it up a bit.

OMG - soooooooo funny! My neighbour decided to follow my example and order their food on-line. She's been having a few problems with Tesco so she cancelled her order and re-ordered through Sainsbury. Guess what - she didn't actually cancel her Tesco order so both lots got delivered AT THE SAME TIME. If you ever do this then be careful, there is a pop up box with a button to confirm the cancellation and her pop up stopper prog got rid of it.
She asked me to put some in my freezer for her - OMG what rubbish those people eat - its all re-shaped chicken shapes, chips, icecream or pastry products. (HUGE amount of chips!) |
 Oh dear! I used to live on reformed chicken, chips and pastry products - although they were OVEN chips, so less fat... ;)
I think there might be pastries in the kitchen soon! :tantrum: :frypan: :tantrum: NOT FAIR! :tantrum: |
I'm feeling sorry for myself today, a stinky cold appeared from no where yesterday :( today I'm sitting at work surrounded by tissues, Beechams flu plus and throat sweets. Just hoping other half hasn't go it too, he was sneezing last night. I'm really not in the mood for "Man Flu" :(
|
Ahhhh! Poor Moo  I hope your other half hasn't got it, although if he's anything like mine then - within an hour of getting home and finding you feeling rough - he'll find he's got SOMETHING wrong with him.
I once asked DH why, when he gets ill, he stays in bed and I fetch drinks, make tempting little dishes and generally run around making a fuss of him - his answer was.... because I let him! |
haha man flu does seriously suck. I have a runny nose too but think its the old hayfever.
I'm having cheese and spinach fillety thing done in the oven with salad and green beans. |
Thank you Sarah
Man flu is not an option tonight!!!, I have to walk home from work at 6pm (@ 5 miles) and by the time I get home I want all the sympathy and waiting on ...... :^: :^: |
Tell your MEN that frus got her green belt with full on Superwoman-Flu on Saturday so there's no complaining to be had!

I'm not big on ice cream, although I suspect that given a tub of it at the moment I'd finish it off pretty quickly, I'm having a bit of a pity party today. Food wise I've just eaten a tofu and veg stir fry, and I've been pretty much on plan all day, but I'm feeling a bit lethargic (have been all weekend to be honest, it just shows up more at work when I can't just sit in front of the tv), and my knee has been playing up a bit. It doesn't hurt as such, but I can feel it more than normal, if you know what I mean. I'm constantly aware of it. I'm thinking of not running again until my half marathon on Sunday to give it some rest, but I'll see how it feels in the morning.
I'm currently trying to decide whether to inflict cakes and chocolate on the office tomorrow in the traditional manner, or whether to see if I can find something healthier, the problem is that I can't face baking healthy treats tonight, and I'm not sure where I'd find any to buy tomorrow morning. So it might just be the standard chocolate mini bites from M&S, which I'll then have to try not to devour in one sitting... I might try for an early night and see if I feel better in the morning. In all likelihood I'll just feel older... The one thing that didn't inspire pity party feelings though was The Jeans from Friday. They were numbered in waist sizes rather than clothes sizes, so I just tried them on randomly. I tried the 29s which fastened and felt OK with only a bit of overspill, although the 30s would have given me more room for eating - it was only when I went into TK Maxx today looking at cheaper jeans that I realised that all the 29s were labelled as SIZE 10 :faint: !!! Now if that's not an incentive to save up and buy them I don't know what is! (It would also be a powerful incentive never to put weight back on again to ensure I can wear them for more than a week, on a thin day...) |
What a great birthday pressie - getting into size 10 jeans! :bravo: You rock!
Did some nice kickboxing last night, easy-hard stuff. Stuff that was hard for everyone else, but easy for me! :D Like holding a side kick out for 10 seconds and holding a front kick out for about 3 seconds! If anyone wants to shred their quads, try holding your leg straight out infront of you at waist height. It BURNS :hot: I am currently reading "Why do you overeat when all you want is to be slim" And Tom V's "Burn Fat Feed the Muscle" which are both kicking :kickbutt: my @$$ back into healthy ways. :D Can't gym it tonight, but am going at lunchtime instead. Hooray! |
Kykaree did you enjoy the football? Did you support Hungary? ;)
